Just curious to know if there still those that think Depay has a future here with us and will come good. I never thought so but he has gotten worse imo and something that is baffling. He is 24 if i am not wrong so the age thing is not really an argument anymore.
Glad we won and Carrick is so good at what he does.

Depay needs a run of games. Playing him for 20 mins here and there you can see he is waiting to be subbed. Give him a go.

Memphis has done relatively okay in his few minutes on the pitch this season, positive and direct, and his attitude seems much improved. Been better than Martial so far.
He should have stayed on the pitch last night, if only young players were given the same privileges of certain club captains eh?

I said that under JM he would come good and become a great player!
There is a reason for his lack of game time and only JM knows why. perhaps training shows JM enough to not include him in the first team.

I've not given up on him. I agree he needs to play 15/ 20 games in a row in order to find any type of rhythm and consistency. From the outside it appears that he is more focused.
Again he is like Morgan and Herrera I think they would play well behind pogba and depay would benifit from that midfield 3 add would Miki on the right.
However rash is staking his claim to a starting berth better than depay martial or Miki at the moment imo.

Apparently Depays work rate in training and the hrs he puts in to his training is a high standard. Coming in early and staying late, the life of a United No.7. Shame he hasn't been able to adapt as quickly as we all want! He definetly has the talent and ability, to be our no.7 but the pace of the league has seen him struggle.

As long as his attitude is 100% right and he is giving 100% in training and when he gets a chance to play, I think he should be given a bit of time. He's only 22 and in his second season in a new country/ league. If his attitude is wrong then he needs shipping out.

Last night first half he was a bit in and out the game- certainly not his worst game and you could see he was trying, had some nice touches - 2nd half until he went off he looked very bright, I felt a bit sorry for him then as he seemed to have found his feet.
I would like to see him go on the outside more and beat a man . we badly miss that - its one of the fundamentals of attack,4 attackers against 4 defenders, beat one and its 4 against 3 you have a man over, was the only reason I was unsure of letting Nani go, at least he could do that.

He's almost always played on the left, where he cuts inside and ends up in congested areas . Be nice to see him play on the right for a few games, being a bit more direct, getting down the line and crossing.
