Liverpool fan in peace here. Just wondering what your thoughts are on Jose and his team selections. And which players you would drop/ replace with in order to get the best of an undoubtedly talented squad? It seems there are too many players ignored like schneiderlin and even rash ford for a starting berth. And what happened to carrick? And Depay? It all looks a little chaotic and unsettled to me at the moment. Anyway, much as I won't pretend to not be enjoying the 'temporary loss of form' I'm sure you will. E challenging at the end of the season. Cheers.

There will always be debate about who should play we will never agree on that, but I think all of us Utd fans will be united in saying that the whole tempo needs improving. The energy, the drive, the desire to contribute more than the bare essentials. We lack what you scousers have at the minute, and we have better players so we should be even more impressive. Energy!
The system and the way they are being asked to play seems to be the problem as well. The manager is at fault either way, if they are not doing what the manager asks them to do then he is not doing his job, if they are doing what Jose asks, then what he is asking them to do is ridiculous.
What worries me is that we are seeing similar (worse) performances than under LVG, no matter what players play we see the same performance - we have forgotten how to attack teams.
The team is worse than the sum of it's parts, that should change over time, but I'd expect a lot better already. It simply isn't good enough from the players or the manager. We are just being punished at the minute, we have been playing this bad for years, with the occasional good performance to shut people like me up for a bit. We don't have the usual injury crisis either to fall back on as an excuse.
There is a disproportionate bias in assessments as well from the media and fans. For example Rooney could have a blinder next game and "he is back", it will then take his usual 5-6 bad performances for us to reach this same point again with him in terms of overwhelming criticism. It's why LVG lasted so long, the good seems to be worth 5 times the bad for some bizarre reason.

Beast. I disagree that we have better players than the scousers. Better goalkeeper. Defence not much difference. But in midfield and up front and on the wing, they are superior.
In answer to the poster, we are in chaos at present and I can't see us challenging for the league and even top 4 looks unlikely.

Schmidfield they're midfield and attacker isn't better then our if you give klopp the chance to swap our. midfielders and attack with theirs he will most likely replace all the players with ours except maybe Mane and Firmino due to their current form.
Liverpool are looking good because they are playing as a team and playing for the manager where as our team look lost and don't seem to know each others game plan.

Liverpool are superior regaurding attackers. Sturridge, mane, firminho and coutinho are all top class when fit and in form. Origis deceveloping into something special. He has everthing to become a great forwardn, his progress has been somethingelse.

We have a better squad than liverpool no doubt. Only Coutinho, maybe firminho and sturridge would get near our squad.
Our form will improve and we will still finish above them. A week ago everybody was sure if this. We beat them in a couple of weeks and Leicester at the weekend and all will be good again.

They've got pace and energy in the side and are able to press teams . We've got Fellaini, Ibra and Rooney who have no pace and would find it hard to press a button.
