We as a team are behind others at the moment because since fergie has left we are now on our third manager with a New way of playing again.

City went from pellegrini to Pep, Styles not to different just pep uses press etc,

Chelsea- Conte is just following on from mou and hiddink literally mirroring there style at Chelsea.

You guys need to be patient, Mourinho will get it together and we will give someone an absolute battering and from there onwards we will be fine.

We have a strong team we just need to push more up the field and get the wingers more involved soon as this happens we will blow teams away.

Looking forward to tomorrows games i will be there myself :)

Agree BigV. I feel the same way as well. Just as players need to settle down, manager needs to settle down too. Players face either playing 1-2 positions but managers has to look to decide 10 (excluding GK) on which are his best for that game and yet think about the other games that may distract from PL games.
I urge al to be patient and let the manager settle.
That said I am getting concerned abt City running away with strong challenges from Pool and Arsenal. We need to get it together asap and solidify our position at the top.
Look forward to game tomorrow and let's stand behind our team.

we have lost 1 league game .

everyone keeps saying its not the end of the world .

is anyone saying it is?

17 Sep 2016 17:57:45
Well. I'm not impressed so far. Early days but nit the messianic start I was expecting. Ken, bring it on.

17 Sep 2016 18:17:22
i think its a case of ok so far .
but the excusses are doing my head in .
we need to step up, the players and the manager.
if i heard the players coming out with the same excusses i would go nuts .

you know if you have had a bad game or not and that down to you, can't blame anyone else

9 points out of 12 is fine imo but its time for a few to step up .

good team good manager time to do the business.

Jred the way some have reacted to our one league defeat it's like the end of the world, I'm just saying get things into perspective, new manager, new players, new system, things take time, Jose himself has said we will have up and down results. I've not been overly impressed by our performances but I do see improvements that wasn't there under LVG, patience is a virtue, we can't keep changing managers, it's why we've ended up so disjointed and inconsistent in the first place. Look at pool, Klopp a year now and they look like a team, I wonder what a year under jose will do our performances.

17 Sep 2016 18:38:49
Its the attackers that need to step up really and aswell as understanding each others game then the improvements will come itself.

17 Sep 2016 18:53:56
welsh
i see more people saying don't panic than are panicking.
never mind liverpool, look at city.

its just excusses.

17 Sep 2016 20:39:37
Big V. Agree we should not panic and we should get behind team and manager. But you mentioned wingers? We haven't got any decent wingers. In fact we haven't got wingers! And there lies the problem.

17 Sep 2016 20:44:32
Rashford and martial can do the job,

17 Sep 2016 23:17:42
No. Come on now, it's the end of the world as we know it. Mourinho hasn't got us playing games with the sauve of Brazil 82. Shoot the manager, snipe rooney, hano delay and all is good.

17 Sep 2016 23:58:00
It's like an episode of Dads Army on here at the minute. Don't panic, don't panic!

No one wins anything in September and it was always going to be a bit of mixed bag with a new manager and all the new players and changing of philosophy of LVG rubbish early in the season. A win today although not easy and we should be quite pleased with our early season points haul.

It will be a tight league this year from 3rd to 6th or 7th. I expect us to be top 2. BTW I could care less about europa league and although i never want us losing but even if we missed out on qualifying for the knock out stage, it does have some benefits when considering the league and the key march April period.

Yeah City had a good start, Liverpool playing well too it's early days for us on another manager yet again, patience.
