Let's put things into perspective, Jose only 4/ 5 games into the job, has stuck by his first choice XI for league games and we was 100%, beaten by a very good city display, our players v Feyenoord some hasn't and many minutes, it's not the end of the world and a win today will see us top 2 again potentially. We have seen in our first 3 league games forward motion, more tempo which is something we didn't see under LVG at all almost, things will take time to click and have iOS and downs until we get that consistency, but I believe it will get there. It's not all doom and gloom, just get behind our players. I do think once Pogba finds his niche things will gel, will we see us go to 433 or stay to 4231 is my only question as think the former is the way forward and suits our players more.

we will play a different tactic each game imo with the players having a different role .

Agree with Jred.
I believe we are placing more focus in PL and local competitions (FA cup etc) as I believe for JM his key objective is getting back to CL as it come with prestige and $$. He has been involved in top level games and may be lax against external. I do support this idea to an extend as I believe if you can't do well locally you can be good externally. Besides I agree with his view that the schedule is hard on us. Just look, we just finished a game and have to be play again within 48hrs! Need to sacrifice and focus in objectives and importance of PL games.

Klopp has Liverpool well set up and playing well, full of energy and pace. He had most of last season to figure things out. Pep also had City playing to a clear system and he's only just started. We need to give Jose time but so far I'm not clear on his approach. Jred, I take your point but Jose has always found his best team and selected it.
We've now got the most expensive player in the world and seem unsure how to use him. Still, early days.

against city did we set the team up wrong or did miki and linders just have really bad games.
im not even thinking about thursday, very bad day at the office move on .
i don't think we have been that bad in the league, don't think we need drastic change (like we saw thursday ) won 3 got beat of a good city team .

AJH I agree it's still too early.
If we start losing too many PL games then I'll be worried. For the Europa games I honestly won't even bother. Just curious how our "young" team play that's all.
Otherwise I am more concerned with PL and local games and where we end up.

For the City game he brought in Lingaard and Mkhitaryan who hadn't started a single premier league game previously.
I think if we had gone with Martial and Rashford on the wings instead we'd have done better in the first half.
Still, i think there is a lot of work to do with this team.
Mata doesn't look good out side, Martial has been a little lazy with his play and Pogba hasn't been too good either.

Against City, mourinho made a tactical error and should've played 3 in midfield against the best midfield in the league. So far, mourinho has not covered himself in glory.
Also why buy mkhitaryan to play him on the wing?

Silva and Devruyne are very good players.
That was Pogbas first game against them in a new team with new team mates not as easy as smashing players on fifa.
Like Scholes was saying Pogba isn't bought to do what Messi and Ronaldo does. He should concentrate on playing his own game at the moment i don't think he himself knows what his role is.

Schmid mkhi's best performances for dortmund came at rw not no 10, iirc he failed badly as a no 10 under klopp. Jred where was fernandinho playing, in gk pos i suppose. Jose messed up against city with tactics add to that lingard and mkhitaryan coming off their injuries should not have started. He got his selections and tactics wrong against city.
Against Feyenoord he again got his tactics wrong, as a failure of our pressing against city his response was absolute no pressing against Feyenoord, we sat too deep and defended for most of the first half against bloody Feyenoord, van gaal or moyes did that they would be crucified.
