Right, so that was pretty much the starting 11 that most on here have been crying out for, besides may be Rojo.
Rashford started and so did Martial, that's plenty of pace up front to run behind. What did it get us, nothing. That is why you don't put all your eggs in the basket of a couple of immature 18 year olds. Rashford was way too eager and don't understand what is wrong with Martial. Really need to up their games.
Mata, waste of 37 million and a lot of space. He should just bloody concentrate on writing blogs rather than playing football. He has done absolutely nothing for us for me to understand the romance with him. and expensive flop. Not one single key pass through the game. He should play with the ladies and even there the strong ones will bully him off the ball.
Midfield 3 was the wet dream of everyone here. They were poor. Herrera showed a bit of energy but fizzed out later. POgba was, like Rashford, doing too much to impress but just didn't happen for him. Schniederlin, can't remember seeing him in the opposition half the entire match.
Rojo, don't even have words to say anything about him anymore.
Smalling and Bailly were good.
On this performance, Darmian doesn't replace Valencia in the first team.
Should have played carrick in the midfield. It was all very scrappy. I can't remember seeing even a single United move. It was like how the kids play in school.
I saw no passion yesterday. And that is what "Undesirable #1" brings to the team. Even if he is slow in possession or slows down the attacks, but still when he is in, atleast there IS an attack.
But it must be Rooney's fault afterall that the performance was so poor.
On another note, this is probably the third time I am seeing United in the Europa league and we just don't want to be here. Its like we are just going through the motions to get it done with.

When its going well for Martial he looks so cool, imonly here for a kick about and it just so happens i'm bloody good- when nothing comes off it looks like. erm i'm just here for a kickabout - off field distractions?
Schneiderlin need s a rocket up him, avery good player there somewhere-
Bailly and Smalling could work.

Care to elaborate on them Ports? Were you proud of any performance yesterday? Or did Mata had a blinder, or was it Rashford and Martial who were unplayable? I would be enlightened if you could tell me the "embarrassing and ridiculous" things.

AJH I am not in a meltdown here, just pointing out that the players everyone wants to see in the team aren't actually that good that they should replace Rooney in the team and he is played by every manager. Weren't people complaining about Rashford not starting? What exactly did we get?
Like every true United fan, I am hurt by the loss and don't hide behind red tinted glasses. We were poor and it wasn't Rooney's or Fellaini's fault.
