I feel for Phil Jones. I see early retirement.

Don't you have to play before you can retire?

I wonder if Mourinho will regret not letting him go this summer?

It's a shame, at one time he looked like he could really make a career for himself as a player at Utd.

It makes you wonder with some players whether or not they don't do enough to take care of themselves. I'm not talking about diet more yoga, Pilates etc.

Mad Hatter, quite a lot of it has to do with how they are handled in their youth careers. People start losing flexibilty at the age of 7 so if players as young as 8 and 9 are allowed to not properly strectch then they can start to lose flexibilty which while their bodies are developing can be detrimental. Darren Anderton was notorious for not warming up properly as a youth, this contributed massively to him suffering muscle issues throughout his career.
Also gifted players who lack physical attributes are encouraged to build themselves up with little or no supervision which also causes long term damage to the body.

he has not had much luck.

Remember when Fergie said - Jones, arguably the way he is looking, could be our best ever player. I think Jones may be one of the best players we have ever had, not matter where we play him. At 21 years of age, he is going to be a phenomenal player.

You've have to wonder about the united medical team, if we can spot Jordan Henderson's dodgy knees, how could they miss jones grimacing after every tackle?
