You have to credit for how he managed the game yesterday.
The weather is terrible, and I'm sure Zlatan, Pogba and Bailly may have found it very tough to play.
Second half, was a bit Barcelona-esque, the game was played in their half and everytime they played a ball to forwards it was more often than not intecepted by Marounane and Bailly.
And then Jose brings on Mkhi and Rashford, but does not take Zlatan and Rooney, because even on their worst days they have a certain quality that can win games in a minute.
I wanted Rooney to be the first one to get the hook, but Jose knows better, and he kept Rooney on and then Rooney made that wonderful pass and Marcus scored, Rooney made an exceptional, moment of match skill and Marcus made the run.

And if LVG was manager, I'm 100% sure, Marouane would have moved up top and we'd be pinging balls towards him. Jose didn't do that and we know better.

When you look at the team, there are goalscorers everywhere in the squad who can always knick a goal.
Marcus, Martial, Zlatan, Rooney, Mata, Memphis, Mkhi, Herrera, Fellaini, Pogba, Lingard: All of them can score 10+ goals this season, they definitely would not, but all have the quality to, if given good gametime.
All of them are good finishers apart from Lingard, who I think would improve.
I don't think we've had such a potent front 6 than this.

I thought Rooney was poor for the majority of the game again but the assist buys him time.

I'm nearly sure Zlatan, Pogba and Bailly, have played in the rain before.

There was nothing like it playing in the pouring Glasgow rain on the old red ash pitches with the old mitre 5 getting crashed off your coupon (translation for non Glaswegians : FACE) with the ball covered in red ash, no prima donna's in those days and we weren't getting 250k a week for it either no wonder i laugh when you hear them talk about playing in horrible conditions.
