December looks a key month to our season. 8 games in 31 days including an away trip to the Ukraine.
We kick it off with away to Everton, then our nice euro trip away, three days later we are at home to Spurs, we're then away to Palace and West Brom, before we have two home games over the Christmas period to Sunderland and Middlesborough with a tricky away tie at West Ham just after the New year.
This is probably out toughest December I can remember.

Hopefully we wil have qualified from the Europa league by then.
It would be nice to win it. We've got a big enough squad to compete in it and still go for the league.
December is always a big month in the football calender, mainly due to the hectic schedule at Xmas. Hopefully we have an injury free season.

Our squad has twice the depth of our rivals, I am sure they will be dropping more points than we will.

We are fortunate in the order of our Europa fixtures. 2 at home and only Feyenoord away. If we win all 3 we can definitely afford to take just 18 players to Ukraine and Turkey, pick up the odd point and still top the group.
I really wouldn't be surprised to see round about our strongest XI in our opening 3 Europa fixtures, which will hopefully secure 9 points and give the benched players plenty of time in the league either side of the Thursday fixtures. Squad rotation is going to be key and we are fortunate we are now very strong on 9 or 10 positions.

One thing in our favour is jose loves the christmas period. He always go on about how he likes the constant matches.

looking forward to this season at Christmas and to the northeast coming to manchester Moyes return and Joses good friend should make for interesting sub plots which i think could well be 6 points well earned Jose will not want losing or drawing to either and both will be desperate to get a result.

Even though the schedule is hectic Shappy, I think we will the enough points . I think December will be satisfying.
