Afternoon to all Ed's and other posters alike!

Through all my silly questions and players I put on this site, do we see any more players coming through the doors if any before the end of the window?

As you know 'kind' thoughts welcome as always and not so kind welcome too!

Me personally, a defender would be nice, although we do have some great youngsters coming through!

I do hope Mourinho brings these guys on!?

Cheers, Ronnie!

Oh, also, I heard somewhere we were fighting with Spurs for Calhanoglu? Great player, he's to hoping!

Sorry for the long post, I know you hate my short ones! Cheers guys!

{Ed041's Note - I would think that's is done, if ed02 mentions anything on the widget I'll let you know.

I think no one will come in if we can't move out certain people.

I think we're probably done in the market and I'm happy with the squad as it is for now.

Honest question Ronnie, do you not think that adding too many new faces at once could lead to it taking longer for the team to gel? And for the squad to form a strong cohesive unit?

After the last 3 years we can't afford another season of 'transition' - we need to hit the ground running and achieve something meaningful in Jose's first season. I'm glad we got the majority of our business done early so that the players had pre season to get used to the club and the way Jose wants us to play. Any new signings now might struggle to settle and could cause some level of unrest in what seems to be a relatively settled squad.

Our squad is in very good shape. We have 4 new first XI signings, depth in every position, very promising youngsters, although some have gone on loan, we are stocked in every area.

The only transfer I hope happens between now and 31st August is Rojo leaves.

Wazza if Rojo is okay being 4th/ 5th choice, it'd be okay to keep him.
Shaw does not have a good fitness record, and with him being out for so long, it wouldn't be bad to give Rojo some odd games in the cups and maybe 2-3 PL games this season.
We have had CB crisis for years now, and having another body doesn't do much harm.
I think Rojo is below average to be honest, but under Mourinho these same players if they follow the manager to the point can look world beaters. Just look at Fellaini.

Thanks for the input guys and Ed041 for replying!

JM interview today has been quoted as saying that's it for ins and outs including basti (which he basically said if he stays then so be it but he will struggle to get in the squad) .

So we now have a finished squad! Its going to be a good season!
