Nani saying when he signed a five year deal with us it was his worst moment. Have to say, I didn't feel too great about it either pal.

Eric 😀😀😀.

I think you are being a little harsh Eric. I have to admit that Nani was probably the most frustrating player I have ever watched, but I read the whole article and I think he comes across well. Why give someone a new 5 year contract and then ignore them?

Also why sell him and then complain that you have no pace/ anybody that can take the ball and run at players.

I think he would have been a good player to have last season, even if it was to only take a corner that did not hit the first man.

I will be interested to see how he does at Valencia. I thought he did well in the euros.

Lighten up.

Huggy he did do well in euros and will do ok in Spain I think.
It was odd to give him a5 year deal then sell him for so little. His Turkish club sold him 12 mouths later at a big profit.
He was annoying to watch I would say extremely frustrating to play with. Overall he seems like a nice guy I hope he does well in Spain.

Huggy,

Every single one of his corners hit the first man, so not sure that would have been a help last season.

I remember when RVP scored his hat trick against Southampton and he ran front post to score a Nani corner, everyone raved about how he realised all of Nani's corners hit the first man and RVP had realised that so went front post!

He's a decent player and Valencia are the perfect level for him at best but a club wanting to be the best doesn't rely on a one in ten type player. Why was he offered a deal, ask Moyes who probably still can't explain why he was allowed to be United manager.

Nani was without a doubt the most frustrating player we have had in the last 10 years. So much ability and seemed to be able to turn it on against a certain type of opposition but also never seemed to work hard enough on the training pitch to produce it against any opposition. He didn't deserve that contract yet he also deserved more than the half dozen starts he got.

Nani doesn't get the appreciation he deserves. like a lot of our players.

On his day he was immense. Granted it wasn't his day that often.

He won us the league in the 2010/ 2011 season.

I agree with JK92, when Rooney was out of form in 2010/ 11 season, nani scored some big goals and also created a lot of goals. Shame he didn't take his game into another level following that season. However I thought bar his last 2 seasons here, he was very good. Too much hype about him being Ronaldo 2.0 and I feel that stopped us from sometimes appreciating him.

"Manchester United gave all that I have in life" guess who said that too
-Nani.
