YouTube videos can make anyone look good. None the less, here's something that may help us figure out "what the fuss is about". Maybe, just maybe, he's actually a very good player.

not a massive fan of the highlight reel as so many average players can look immense on a you tube video.
However, there are some occasions where the video show the players and how talented he actually is and this is one of them!
he will b a beast for us :-)

I don't think anyone is saying that he isn't a very good player. One with massive potential.
But ask yourself this, this video is 12 minutes long, and Pogba was on the pitch for well over 3000 minutes last season, so what was he doing in the other at least 2988 minutes that got cut?
Clearly he is supremely talented, but the way some wax lyrical about him he Scholes, Keane and Zidane all rolled into one.
The potential is there, its the consistency to make the difference every week that isn't yet.

Agree with the comments about you tube videos just being momentary clips and not the full picture.
However this guy is the real deal.
His close ball control and the way he takes the ball past people is like no other centre midfield player around. He has pace and strength to go with it.
If Pogba and JM remain at Utd for 3-4 years then the £89M will be money well spent as he will have paid back the fee with the success and extra revenue generated.
Setting injuries aside we are not taking a chance with this kid. Every team wanted him but only Utd could afford him which is something we should all be happy about.

Tot66, my point is more that I expect if you wanted to you could probably make a 12 minute video of all the mistakes Pogba made last season. All the poor tackles, misplaced passes, poor first touch or miscontrol ect.
But which video would show you the real Pogba, the truth is as always somewhere in the middle.
Like I've said Pogba is a very talented player, but he won't single handedly win us the title. At least not yet.

It's not a great point at all Shappy.
Firstly if your saying 3000 minutes, how much of that time is ball in play? you can cut 1000 minutes from that instantly.
Also there is two teams so divide that time again by half!
Seriously what is wrong with people '2988 minutes that got cut'! It's not a 3000 minute show reel .
There are posters on here that just want to be controversial or different just to be different .
Possibly the dumbest post I've ever read on here and I have to read Maze's everyday too!

I think until he plays a good 20 games in the Pl it will be difficult to say how good he is. The Pl has been very unkind to many big names and the pace of play and spacing is something that is not in other leagues. He really has no PL experience and i think before we declare anyone as great, they need to get it done on the pitch in the big games against the likes city, arsenal, spurs, liverpool, chelsea etc etc
I would not be surprised if if he struggles early on in the season and if he is the real deal he will come through as the season goes on.

There is a clip of me somewhere, brother in law videoed it, flick the ball up left foot volley through my dads open greenhouse door, out the other side through the open door, hits back fence loops back up over greenhouse I trap it on knee. and i'm eating a cornetto. didn't drop it . Iwill repeat that last bit. all done while eating a cornetto.

I see he is a fan on the Poborsky scoop, can certainly pick a pass the lad. Needs to be played in a more forward role, and I think we'll see some good stuff from him. Already been dicking about with Lingard, like he's never been away.

I know all the negatives. I Understand the logic of a highlight reel and that he will make lots of mistakes. won't always perform and that the money we paid is too much for anyone.
BUT I am properly excited for our club right now and i make no apologies for it. This guy if played correctly is a beast of a player. physically strong, quick, skillfull and a great shot.
The other players will be excited to play with him.

Great player and should only get better, i know he's been given the no.6 but i hope we don't play him as a no.6, he needs to be further up the pitch in my opinion.
