If anyone has a spare five minutes pop over to the others page and have a look at Shappy's post in regards to the Pogba saga.

Couldn't have put it better myself. Really good post mate.

You see maze. Much as you'd like to believe otherwise, a lot of people here share shappy's view already. What nobody appreciates is you posting random quotes off twitter as facts, then when caught out, pointing out how others are naive because they actually bothered to follow up.

02 Aug 2016 14:44:53
Who is talking about random quotes? From what I have seen Shappy's view much like my own is a minority here.

Everyone wants to throw the red carpet out and welcome back a player who walked out on us before and does not want to return.

Three cheers for the vegetables.

02 Aug 2016 14:53:00
Well said that man . You must of read my mind😆😆.

02 Aug 2016 14:56:53
Maze are u a politician by any chance, every time u seem to be losing an argument u change the subject.

02 Aug 2016 15:10:13
I am talking about YOUR random quotes, and you know i am.
And i have read posts upon posts here that talk about how pogba is a bad deal. Much like how a lot of people thought ADM was a bad deal. People are more skeptical than you think.

02 Aug 2016 15:49:04
Is it that important that people feel the need to start picking at each other? Surely the most important question is "Will you support Pogba if and when he signs for as long as he stays with us? "

If the answer to that is no why would you even bother to come on this site?

02 Aug 2016 15:24:30
Shappys view is hardly the minority. The points he's made on price, pogba wilingness to come and the chance that he will only be here a short period of time have been mentioned a lot on the site.

But the general response has been we can afford it, we accept were not his first choice but it looks like were his only choice and no one can predict the future lol.

02 Aug 2016 15:26:43
Pogba is a grown man and if he did not want to move to Uts he would to come. Ed002 simply said the player preferred a move to Madrid - who wouldn't? That option is off the table so it's a straight choice. Stay in Italy, or come back to United. He is clearly choosing to move. Any similarities to ADM deal are completely pointless and wide of the mark. Pogo speaks English, knows the club and a lot of its staff and players, as well as the area having lived here.

I, for one, will be delighted if it happens as we finally have a world class midfielder again.

02 Aug 2016 15:31:20
How many players in our squad do you think would rather be at another club than ours? I'd guess quite a lot, players will always prefer to be elsewhere. It's a job, and honestly Pogba is one of the best midfielders in the world and he's only 23. I think some of the money spent this summer highlights that it may not be as crazy as some are saying it is.
Looking at the fee as a percentage of the turnover seems to be the flavour of the month and when it's put into those terms it doesn't seem so crazy.

02 Aug 2016 15:58:40
Think people forget he was 18 and had a greedy agent manipulating him.

02 Aug 2016 16:14:28
Now he's 23 and probably still has a greedy agent manipulating him.

02 Aug 2016 16:26:33
i think it is 50 50 as far as the site goes .
as a player i would want him in the team but i have issues if he really wants to be at united or if it a case of a big pay rise, % of the transfer fee then of to his dream club.

others seem sure he will come back and be great.
only time will tell to be honest but there are definitely 2 sides.

02 Aug 2016 16:49:32
I'm with jred. If he comes an tries fair enough.

02 Aug 2016 16:54:57
We all know it's silly money and we all know he might prefer Madrid. But he's coming back to us and I'm going to get behind him and the manager. I hope that most people do the same.
There seem to be a load of people who are unhappy at mourinho being our manager and anything he does is going to get crucified.
For all those, and you know who you are, if not Mourinho, who would you want who is available?
Please get behind the manager, players and club and let's win the league.

i don't think anyone has resevations on pogba because of jose.
i know i dont, i'm a jose fan but like all transfers i think there are are some genuine issues around the pogba deal.
some maybe don't want jose, most have explained why and fair enough, they prob have a point. i think he is perfect for the job .
one thing is for sure people will get behind him more than they did moyes.
there are a lot of agendas on site to be honest which cause friction very little banter .

02 Aug 2016 18:08:19
I don't think many say the price is not too high
I think everybody knows we are not his 1st choice
The same can be said of ddg
He will improve the team
He is better than anybody here in his position
We are not in cl so have to pay overt the odds and see sell 'the project ' and offer financial incentives to elite players in order to get them
I don't know many people that would move jobs for less money.
His agent imo is right to try and maximise his earnings can anybody hand on heart say they would not try to maximise their earnings?
We won't be selling at a loss in 2 years imo
Nothing at all like the adm deal for a multitude of reasons
I can't wait to see him pull on the jersy.
We will not win nothing with Paul pogba.
