Jred, i hate to look too deep into this but in the advert there were two paper "parrots" that were "fighting". It saddens me but that is apparently what he meant. He's probably in on it. And its a pathetic PR stunt.

I love the fact that the 'circus' surrounding the Pogba transfer has been created by the fans rather than the clubs, papers or agents. I hear just as much about koulibaly to Chelsea in the papers or lacazette to arsenal via relevant managers. Yet it's when 1 agent makes a few quotes contrary to what some journalists suggest then suddenly it's a circus.
De Gea to Madrid last season was a lot worse than the Pogba transfer yet as the result favoured our wishes it is forgotten? I just don't get it. Pogba has kept quiet, managers have kept quiet, agent has made comments exactly as an agent should, papers have printed large headlines to try and sell papers but it's the fans who seem to be clamouring for an answer to an unasked question.

Breakdown I heard was JReds 13+7m euros. So at current exchange rate it's something like £320k a week all in. Even with our wealth you can see why someone like Schweinsteiger being moved on to free up the wage bill.

Jred I'm not sure what you're getting at? We have been a club that has always broken transfer records and wage records if our manager thinks the right player is available. Keane, Rio, Rooney, Shaw, even Ronaldo were astronomical fees for what they had achieved at the time. The fact that Pogba has already won 4 league titles in 4 years since leaving us and is still regarded as not the finished article means that we are once again paying a premium for potential. As for the cloud that he left under previously, well in my and most people's opinion that was SAF fault for trying to be a dictator.
Pogba is a player I would welcome back with open arms and completely support his decisions in the past.
