Press reports are notoriously unreliable. However, Jose was keen to tell us how many young players he gave debuts to, but if the press is right, there is no place in the squad for Pereira, Januzaj, or TFM. We can disagree abut McNair, Blackett, and Wilson but the other 3 are players we should be investing time and energy in. This from a Manager who improves players. If true, then one of the concerns has proven to be true.

It is litterally someone putting 2 and 2 together and getting 862. wouldn't pay any attention to it.

Let's see what happens.
Keane, McNair and Blackett are all championship players and will develop into Liverpool level signings. TFM and Pereira may well have a future - but regular football on loan would do neither any harm, especially Pereira who has had years of U21 football. How could you expect him to start ahead of Rooney or Mata.

Is it harsh to say that thus far Januzaj has undelivered? .

I feel he's been very hit and miss for a player who was promoted to first team by SAF after ripping a good standard reserve league in 2012/ 2013. And yes that does say 2012/ 2013. 😣😣😣😣

With Fabinho and Pogba possibly joining: in defence that would leave us with 3 senior RB in Valencia, Darmian and Fabinho and 3 senior LB in Shaw, Darmian and Blind. In midfield we would have Pogba, Mkhitarian, Fellaini, Herrera, Bastian, Schneiderlin and Rooney who can play box to box/ am and for wingers/ inside forwards we have Mata, Martial, Mkhitarian, Lingard, Memphis, Pogba, Valencia, Young and Rooney.
Unfortunately there is very little space in our squad right now to give to players who might oust a senior player. As for Perrera, TFM and CBJ a season playing regular higher level football than the reserve league would do wonders for their development. As for Keane and Blackett, well they would be better looking st other clubs permanently in my opinion. Now Januzaj and McNair are 2 players I think still have question marks over them considering the amount of time they have had with the first team squads. Januzaj seems to have the quality but not the application whereas McNair seems to be determined to make yet not have enough quality. Again a loan for both would be my choice this year.
Overall all, those 7 players leaving in one capacity or another would benefit the club and I think Jose knows this. The only way this could change is if we move on a number of CM options, 3-4, freeing up space for TFM to have a crack.

Wow Tony proven to be true before a ball is kicked. Can't wait to read you all season having a dig at every opportunity. Like me with Rooney 😀 adnan has done nothing to deserve a chance. Tfm and Pereira will benifit greatly if loaned out .
I was hoping Tfm would play a good part this season but he was the only one of those mentioned above. Cbj and rashford will play plenty. The others are not good enough and not by a long way.

Ken, I'm a pretty balanced poster so are you really going to post the same thing every time I comment on Jose? The story was all over the press and deserved comment. It's funny how people were raving about TFM and his incredible potential but now think it's a great idea for him to go out on loan. If, and I know it's still if, all those players leave or go on loan, which youngster is going to get a game this year?

I would be grossly disappointed to see tfm go as for the others I'm not that fussed I for one have never been overly impressed by pereira and doubt januzaj will ever make it at the top level imo.

I think the press is just writing stuff to rile up fans. I can se some getting sold who are just never going to make it and good for their careers to go elsewhere and get regular football. I don't for a minute believe we will sell Jackson, TFM, Janusaj or Perreira and maybe a coupe will be loaned out.

press reports suggest loans for TFM, januzaj and perreira not sale, and i think it would be good for both januzaj and perreira to have first team football as both are way down in the pecking order at utd, TFM i think should stay as he can cover both the cb and mf positions, and given the names that seem to be on the transfer list he will get games both in mf and defense.

AJH you used be a balanced poster 're read your last few weeks its constant digs at the club the manager and missy are very negative.
Totally your prerogative and I'm not knocking your right to express your views but don't be surprised when its pointed out or argued against.
I do the same with Rooney and like you I hope he does well I am just delighted he won't be playing midfield anymore because he is worse than useless there. Same as you want United to do well but I'm guessing you will jump on every possible negative and opportunity to have a dig at Jose
