What's up Guys. Will all this Pogba stuff going on, it got me wondering. If Paul Scholes was 23/ 24 today. How much money do you think he'd be worth?! And why.

He would be worth around the £50m mark in terms of his talent and that he is an exciting English goal scoring prospect. That is if you are looking at him from a current player point of view. If you are looking at him in hindsight knowing how good he was by the end of his career then the answer would be priceless.

I think he was always priceless because he never ever wanted to leave and we would never have let him leave, so hard one to judge, but Scholes was better than Pogba so obviously based on the £100m he would have to be worth more than that, but a player only worth what somebody is willing to pay.

How much would George Best or Duncan Edwards been worth at their peaks. It was a tragedy we never got to see how awesome Duncan could have been.

If you read between the lines ZlatanTime you will see Scholes doesn't have a fancy European name or wacky hair cut so he would only be worth about £20million in the eyes of some.
Paul Scholes never even got the respect he deserved as player during his prime nevermind now that he has retired.

we can see how bad our midfields is with scholes.
the success of valencia, ronaldo, rooney etc are due to scholes' ability.
who else misses paul scholes' tackles? haha
the only player i think of who is a bit like scholes is luka modric and xabi alonso.

Paul Scholes was, is and will always be priceless.
But if you wanted a rough guide price, take the reported Pogba figure, double it and your about 100m short of Paul Scholes valuation.

A man and a player that was a true great. Admired by his team mates his peers and coaches around the world. In today's market he would be the world's most valuable midfield player imo.
The only people that did not appreciate him were the English managers who continually played him out of position.
The most technically gifted English player of his and any generation imo.
