Not a main player but a good back up who would be cheap is leroy fer. Solid underrated player imo. For a starting place, maybe hamsik?

Kroos and Veratti for me would make us a much better team and i know its simplistic to look at things but would venture to say both can be signed for the cost of Pogba. Matuidi is a better box to box than Pogba. Pogba is more of an attacking mid Imo.
Ed004 mentioned saul and i don't think he is any better than herrera and will find the league difficult. I think ed002 mentioned he was offered to us last year and we were not interested and i tend to agree with that.

I was not talking about that. Ed002 said we pulled out of Sanches and Gomes talks.
On a separate post I remember ed002 saying Saul was offered to united, chelsea and a couple of more PL teams. I believe both chelsea and united were not interested. It was something about him wanting a move to England for more money.

Schneiderlin we all forget is a very good player, but, needs some continuity in playing time?
Ramsey would be an awesome buy too aswell as Alli both achievable when £120m for Pogba is quoted?
Verratti is also a serious option too?
