Just a point away from transfers, I saw yesterday pictures of the team training and a quote from Mourinho saying that after only 10 days he loves working with the players. It got me thinking, how will the young players feel when Zlatan turns up to training? Alongside Schweiny we have two icons of modern era football and for any young footballer and even some of the senior players, they will be in awe. What you would give to be on the training field the day they both turn up! I also say Depay and Shaw seem to have rekindled their friendship, I think Shaw coming back could hugely benefit Depay and with Depay/ Martial for left side and Rashford/ Micky right side that is exciting. I was also pleased to see Mata put up a positive message on one of the social medias, I really hope he stays and Mourinho gives him a chance in the 10 role. 6 goals scored, 5 assists and 53 chances created from outwide isn't bad IMO.

I agree Ports. I just hope that Deepay is willing to listen and put in more of a defensive shift as if he does not then he will not work with Mourinho.
Shaw returning will be like a new signing and a top end one too. He will add an additional attacking dimension, pace and high work rate.
Shaw and Martial down the left should see a lot of the ball.

Rekindled their friendship made me chuckle, like they fell out because Shaw broke his leg and only speak on the training pitch.
If you look at the squad that is training now and is set to play against Wigan, other than the forward line it actually looks pretty decent and that is without any of the players that were at the Euro's. Add De Gea, Darmian, Smalling, Schweinsteiger, Fellaini (maybe not), Schneiderlin, Rooney, Martial and Zlatan to the list and we have the makings of a very good squad.

From what the reports say, Depay blamed himself for Shaw's leg brake because he should have protected him, and avoided Shaw for the last 9 months out of embarrassment. But Jose gave him a Good Will Huntinging and Depay realised that it was not his fault. Now Shaw and Depay are back together again and looking forward to a great future.

Haha, yeah I put friendship originally as couldn't think of a better word and was going to go back and replace with partnership! I have however been reliably informed that this is also known as a bromance!
I heard Depay offered an olive branch in the winter by giving Shaw some of his massive furry coats and hats to keep him warm, this is just speculation though!

That reminds me of the story yorke tells of Roy Keane.
1st training session at United yorke said he was keeping it simple laid of a couple of nice passes next time he got the ball Keane came through the back of him leaving him in a heap on the ground. yorke was in agony and Keane bent over him and said. 'They might have paid 13million for you but I'm the main man around here you will do well to remember that'.
