I have read a statement from dortmunds Mr. Watzke he says the situation with manutds bid for mkhitaryan has changed in that we have put an improved offer on the table. The new offer is apparently higher than what they had originally asked for according to what I could gather from the report. My question is is it customary for clubs to pay over the asking price for a player who wants to join the club.

Sounds like the Fellaini deal all over again. Is this an error on Woodwards part again Ed or Dortmund playing hard ball?
