Apparently, Everton will sell John Stones for no less than £45m+ so either Citeh or ourselves will have to shed out that much?
Personally as much as I would like Stones, that's a lot of cash?
I know he's going to improve and get better and better but again, that's a huge amount of money?!
Mind you, it could turn into another Rio situation? A lot of people said that was a lot to pay, turned out alright though eh!

15 mil more than we payed for rio 14 year ago.
Its a lot of cash but the market is nuts at the moment .
The lad imo is going to be special and everton don't want to sell or need the cash so he may well cost a lot.

Not worth it and we would be stupid to splash out that much on a cb who's just had a poor season.

Think how much he would cost if he had just had a great season. I'd go for him at £45m, home grown is a big thing as well for us.

As a defensive unit everton where poor last season.

Going rate for a very promising English defender who has the potential to be top-class. He's highly coveted by all the top teams, and if you consider Rio went for 30m, 14 years ago, it's a decent price.

Seems a lot for a player that Wow doesn't fancy over Mike Smalling.
