Looking at embolo at can't see him making any difference to our team, he will make a good striker in a few years down the road,
He needs time somewhere else to prove himself. if we do buy him he will be loaned out for a couple of years.

Totally agree, at the prices being quoted you would want the finished player not one that may turn out good in a couple years.

He appears to be miles off Martial which is what all young, expensive attackers will be judged against.

I've watched Embolo a couple of times for his club side and he looked superb. Just like Martial and Ibrahimovic look superb for their clubs.
It was the worst I had seen Martial play the other day, far worse than Embolo has been in this tournament. So whilst I probably agree it may be too soon for Embolo at Utd, I don't think it's fair to judge him on the Euro's without judging other players with an equal yard stick.
95% of the attacking players in this tournament have looked poor imo. Internationals often are no indication of how good/ bad a player will be for their clubs. There aren't a great deal of gettable RW's out there at the minute imo, so Embolo would be worth a punt as he can cover a few roles and has obvious talent.

It really depends on how he takes to the premier league. He might struggle at first like memphis, lamela etc or he can embrace it like lanzini who came from al ain which is i guess a very weak league.

Beast I watch him week in and week out. He is an extremely talented player with a lot of strings to his bow. But he is about 2 full seasons away, in my opinion, of being considered for a move to UTD. He has better options out there to go make a name for himself before moving to one of the big clubs.
Side note, played against him once in a 5 aside tournament in basel. Needless to say he was about 15 and still made a fool of everyone. I used to play for his first club.

I've Not seen enough of him to know how good he is, how ready he is or have an opinion on how good he will become. I'm not sure how much others have seen but he is highly thought of bha lit of scouts according to reports.

Remember, by the time he is ready he will be priced out of our league. Like Pogba, Martial, this kid has bags of potential! You cannot teach pace, power and strength. People he's played with say it's almost impossible to get the ball off him such is his strength and protection of the ball. I say buy him now and watch him blossom with Martial and Rashford over the next 1-2 years. These kids have confidence and will feed off each other, add a confident Memphis into the mix and you have a terrifying quartet of talented, pack forwards. GGMU.
