Boys what's yer take on ibra,
John of Shea had him in his pocket
Looked a bit average to me, having said that he didn't get much service from his team mates.

{Ed007's Note - I'd have said it was Glenn Whelan that kept Ibrahimovic shackled for most of the game. You've got to feel sorry for Ciran Clark though - and I can't believe Lustig got injured, AGAIN!}

Agree0 Disagree0

Tricky when surrounded by fodder imo. He is clearly still class, (Ibra isn't bad either) lol.

Things couldn't get any worse for Clark, Whelan did do a good job ed.
Wes Houlihan had a good game too.
What you think of ibra ed.

{Ed007's Note - He's a good player but I've never thought he was as good as he, and plenty others, seem think he is and I think he'd struggle in the EPL. He's hinted before about finishing his career at Celtic, I know that's never going to happen and I'd be over the moon if we did sign him but there's a world of difference between playing for Celtic and Utd week in and week out.
And let's face it, he's no Henrik Larsson, more a Chris Sutton ;)
I thought Robbie Brady had a great game today as well and if he's up for sale at Norwich he didn't do his chances of a move any harm.
Overall it was a good performance but I think Ireland showed the Swedes too much respect as they were very average and were there for the taking, hopefully they don't regret a good opportunity to get 3 points.}

Surely the 'take on Ibra' should be based on a lot more than just the game yesterday, in which he actually created the only goal for his team. He has been involved (goal or assist) in 50% of something like Sweden's last 50 goals, he basically is Sweden, I thought he showed strength and power as he always does.

He was pretty average last night but made the difference. Which is a whole lot better than being average or slightly above average and making no telling contribution. That's what makes a great player. Even when they fall beliw their best they can still be the difference between losing and drawing or drawing and winning.

Leahy which pocket was he in when he skipped payst oshea to set up the goal? That's the difference mate keeping a player quiet for 89 mins is futile because the best players hurt you in an instant.

For me Clark should have been closer to the goal line heading back the other way, but it easy talking after
A fair result maybe as ireland sat back.

We created lots of chances mate. I don't blame Clark there were 3 errors before it got to him. Keeper not great either.
But a positive performance.
The game changed when Walters went off a typical Leicester type player where he puts the team before his own personal performance.
