Recent posts claiming Mourinho is after a younger and a more prolific striker then what we already have, quashing any rumours of Zlatan joining.
This is probably true, as I personally think Mino doesn't want to do business over a free Zlatan.
Is it a good idea getting players in like Aubameyang or Icardi (recent claims/ papers) with the likes of Martial and Rashford to come good?
My Opinion was that, If Zlatan did come in it would mean that Rashford would get some game time to as a ST. With someone like Aubameyang who starts every game, where do you fit in Rashford? He isn't destined to be a glorious RM/ RW. Don't get me wrong he could be, but that isn't his role.
I wouldn't mind Griezmann because, he can naturally play anywhere in the front 3 but also he is particularly good cutting in from RW. Also he can deliver quality assists from the RW too. Not selfish at all. A bit lightweight but with a bit of muscle training (United seem to specialise in) he will be a monster in the Prem. Also counter attacking wise he is fantastic. Play him up by himself with Rashford and Martial With Pogba and Wazza in the middle and Schneiderlin just behind them.

Aubameyang is a mobile forward who could play wide in s fluid front 3. It would be fine I am sure.

It would make no sense to sign a player for top money playing in a position that suits him and then ask him to play somewhere else and perform to the same level. Is that not what you criticised lvg weekly for fresh.
He is performing so well for BD as a centre forward the main striker. So if we ask him to play wide one week central the next he probably won't perform as well and then people will say that say was poor value for money.
Frankly it all depends in which shape Jose sets us up in. If he plays 4231 then auybanyeang is ideal as the top man imo as is rashford or ibra for example.
He is not ideally suited to any of the 3 roles behind the striker
If we play 433 he is not suited to either wide role and had very limited success there at BD when lew was the main man.
