The Champions League final has brought the domestic European season to a close which means I can now reveal the results of the predictions competition. To recap, people were asked to predict the top 6 in order, the bottom 3 in order, the FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League winners, and the EPL top scorer. Points were awarded as follows – 5 points for Champions, 3 points for each of the top 6 or bottom 3 in the right spot, 1 point for each of the top 6 or bottom 3 in the wrong spot (if you said Arsenal would be 2nd you got 3 points, if you said they would be somewhere else in the top 6 you got a point) . 3 points for each of the Cup Winners and EPL top scorer.
That means if you got everything correct you could get 41 points (very unlikely) and nobody got anywhere close to that. 134 entries were received via a Google document which was time stamped so I had no input in your predictions and my own entry was time stamped (or I could just say I won! ) .
Before we get to the results, Chelsea and Leicester really caused havoc as pretty much everyone had Chelsea in the top 6 with many predicting them as champions, and pretty much everyone had Leicester going down. Only 5 people predicted Kane would be the top scorer (including Mrs Beast) whilst 11 currently predicted Southampton would finish 6th (including ken) . 6th position proved interesting with some ambitious predictions for that spot. CTR plumped for Newcastle, whilst 5 others went for Stoke and Red Rebel went for Swansea.
I can’t list everyone but will pick out a few of the regular posters. Starting at the bottom, CTR finished second last with 4 (four) points, Betty was 120th with 6 points, Stand-United was 117th with 7 points. But enough of the losers, let’s get to the winners.
Ken, GDS2, and Beast all finished in the top 30 (Mrs Beast was way down the field) . 10 posters finished joint 2nd with 15 points, including Ed004, Ed007, Welsh Red Devil and me! However, the winner with 16 points, all on his own, was databass. Well done

Cheers Ed, I think we need a few extra categories as there were so many ties. Europes Cup winners is an obvious one and possibly the finalists for the cups. I'll get the sheet set up ready for the new season.

69th is no shame schmidfield anything worse than 100th should mean expulsion from the site. CTR spends more time in the arsenal page anyway😂in fact the honeymoon period must be still going strong because he has not been about much since the wedding. Not only are you a closet gooner chris but you must be under the thumb too 😊😊😊.
