Strange I just saw the head of United supporters club on the BBC news and when asked if mourinho will be heavily backed in the transfer market, he replied that he'll be given £50m plus whatever he raises in sales.
Now that doesn't sound like a load of money to me considering the astronomical figures that the clubs will be getting with the new sponsorship deals.
So I'm not raising my hopes of landing any megastars.

Mourinho won't come unless given guarantees of reasonable transfer monies.
And as for potential outgoings:
mata 20m - as he would only go to Valencia
fellaini - 20p as he is crap player (though nice fella)
young - nothing
schweini - nothing
valencia - nothing
Rooney - why take your wife and young family to China when you can stay here on 300k a week and have chance to eventually beat Charlton's goal record? He is going nowhere.
