Best of luck to Rooney. seen a few pictures of him and he looks to be in good shape, looks fitter than he has for a few years, I hope he does well for Everton. Best of luck rooney.

Leahy I made a point last week about how he seemed in good shape. Folk were slating him saying the pictures of him from his holiday in Ibiza was disgusting as he was 'so out of shape' and 'had let himself go bigtime'. I was looking at these photos thinking he looks in the best condition he has looked in a long time.

That in itself says it all about Rooney. There are guys out there who just want to kick him in the gut for no reason. Shame really. Good luck to him. I hope he plays a blinder this year.

Dont know if there is any truth in it but the fella from the daily mail (! ) said yesterday morning that Rooney had decided to move weeks ago, and has been training hard for weeks to be in top shape -

I think he has done himself no favours with some of his exploits over the years, and he has looked overweight at times but all in all we were lucky to have him for a good 8-9 years he dragged us to trophies - will only ever get best wishes from me for his future and thanks for all he did for us.

Kick him in the gut maze, interesting choice of words, there's plenty to aim at.

In all seriousness though it's great to read nothing but positive comments now he has left the club and hopefully he'll now get the recognition he's earned and deserves. Someone yesterday questioned the reaction he'd get on his return to OT. It will be nothing but positive.
