Afternoon guys,
I wanted to try and generate a little bit of a debate surrounding Leicester but is potentially of interest to United.
We know that Leicester's 4 best outfield players are Vardy, Mahrez, Kante and Drinkwater.
We have been linked with Mahrez and Kante in particular - so I was wondering do you think they would be as effective in other teams or is it the way that Leicester plays that makes them effective?
The reason for asking is that we have seen a number of players leave Atletico but they seem to end back there having 'failed' elsewhere - take Filipe Luis.
Are these players classy in their own right, or are they classy because of the style of play?
And, would you take any of them?

To partly answer your question, Fresh, I bought Vardy in Football Manager, and he was pants. Hope that helps.

I think Mahrez would fit like a glove in our team. He is everything Mata is with added pace.

I wouldn't say all the players who have left Atlectio have been pants cough cough Aguero cough.
I would say that ot was more of a case with players who left Dortmund never quite hit the heights that yhey managed at Dortmund. Kagawa and Gotze spring to mind. Even Lewandowski took a year to settle at Bayern.
It depends on the player, some teams such as Atletico Dortmund and Leicester are able to work so well together that they appear to be greater than the sum of their parts.
There is definately an arguement to be made that the Leicester players might not reach the same heights in another team.
Unfortunately the only way to know for sure is to sign them.

Of the lot I'd have Mahrez and Kante, I think Kante would give us some more dynamism and Mahrez would be excellent on the right.
Drinkwater I think is an interesting option that could do a job, but, he isn't what we need.

The reason they look like amazing players is because everyone is played based on their strength. Van gaal plays everyone to their weaknesses so they'd be crap for us.

Its a team game and some times when the team plays well and play for each other players can look better than what they are .

I'd sign Kante in a heartbeat. The bloke is unreal and does the work of 2 players on his own.

Kante and Mahrez are the 2 key players for that team. When Mahrez got injured in the mid part of the season they went a bit sideways. I think both would give us things we don't have in the current team. A great left footer with pace a trickery to play on the right and a proper Box to Box mid with an engine that passes well and has speed.
The best thing about both of them is there will be no questions or risks about whether they are good enough and adapting to the PL league.

I like kante but if marhrez and vardy weren't ripping it up and leicester were just mid table would kante be labbled a headless chicken who just runs around a lot?

Absolutely get your point jred. But kantes stats this season are very impressive.
