With the obvious exception of Kane and alli whom I think most of us would like to see in a united shirt are there any other young English players you would like to see us sign from elsewhere?
I can't think of too many. I'm not sure about stones and personally I'm not a huge fan of Barkley .

Agree2 Disagree0

Eric Dier, Jack Butland (If DDG leaves), John Stones Reece Oxford and Will Hughes are all young English talents I would consider.

28 Apr 2016 11:39:44
Id have Delle Alli all day long.

28 Apr 2016 11:43:46
I think Hughes has had a bad injury and never kicked on from a couple iof years ago when he was being touted for a big move. He is technically veey good but he lacks stamina and his physique is light.
Butland is for sure a top talent. Oxford also hads potential but had not kicked on but has time on his side.
It's pretty slim pickings😦.

I do not rate Barkley, over hyped imo.

Stones against us in the league and semis I thought had decent games, certainly a talent and could go on to become the next Rio, for club and country.

Sturridge is a good player but seems to have injury/ ego issues.

Judas Sterling, I think Leperpool did great business off loading that headless chicken/ self centred tw#t, to the emptyhead.

I'd like to see a little more of Danny Rose and maybe Berahino but right now I'd only rate Kane, Alli and Stones.

28 Apr 2016 12:07:24
Ward-prowse, Rico Henry will be good but needs to be playin, dier is efficient, grealish may be good if he sorts his head,

28 Apr 2016 13:12:47
Eric Dier has been a revelation this year at Spurs and I would take him in a heartbeat.

Leicester City's Vardy and Drinkwater have been impressive this season especially but so have Morgan and Simpson at the back who have all reached a level I personally thought was beyond them.

I also think the lad Cresswell at West Ham is a very good player and puts in a good performance most weeks.

28 Apr 2016 13:17:12
Barkley, Stones, Ward-Prowse, Oxlade, Alli, Dier and Kane are the players who could fit in here.

28 Apr 2016 16:53:59
Why not Barkley. Best Rooney replacement at the minute 😆😆.

28 Apr 2016 17:21:11
Stones, Dier, Ali depending on price. The rest grossly overrated. If stones cost 40 mill they can keep also overrated.

28 Apr 2016 18:02:46
Try not to judge a player by how much he cost .
Stones has everything to be a top player, young player in a martinez team that don't defend .
I would add berahino, lots of potential once he gets away for pulis .
Ox and wilshere if either could stay fit for longer than 2 games.

28 Apr 2016 19:09:09
Nor convinced ny Stones yet, he might mature but I'm not convinced he is a great defender.

I like Barkley but he hasn't progressed this year, perhaps its am Everton thing.

28 Apr 2016 21:12:36
Stones and ox for me ken .

28 Apr 2016 23:55:33
Why does everyone now love the Ox?
Welbeck is much better player then him, yet we sold him to Arsenal. Welbeck has played 13 games for them this year and scored 4 goals, Ox has played 33 games and scored twice.

29 Apr 2016 08:39:53
Danny's a striker, sort of, and Oxlade is a midfielder. Can't really compare goalscoring stats.

29 Apr 2016 11:59:35
And we sold Welbeck so he is not an option although I'd take him back for sure. Ox would be a great signing if he can keep fit.

Offcourse, I will judge all players united buys by what you get in return to the cost of that player.

Its like saying you think you are buying a Ferrari and get a Volkswagen instead. Most people would be pissed off and you do that enough times you are screwed as a club. that's how clubs go themselves into major Problems and years of mediocracy by paying over the odds for too many players.

Just ask Liverpool about that they can vouch for it. If we do 5 more memphis and basti deals and get them as wrong as we have, we would be doomed in mid table mediocracy for years as you can't move them for no one will buy them and in most cases no one will pay their wages.

The majority of players today are so Money Driven they will see out 5 year fat contracts and sit on the bench rather than take a big pay cut and move.

I know you rate stones, i don't rate him as 40 million pound defender as he has way too many mistakes in him. Funny enough clubs walk away from so many players as they believe they are not worth the price so they obviously care and so do i.

I rate Varrane as a 40 million pound defender. so if we are going to spend 40 mill we are stupid to spend it on stones as there is better defenders out there for that kind of money.

29 Apr 2016 19:51:20
X files what everton want for the player has little to do with how good he is imo
How do you value a player, if he had only 6 month on his contract and everton wanted 5 mill, would he become a better player?
On the other hand if everton don't want to sell and decide it would take twice what the player is worth fir them to sell, does stones become a better player.
If stones was going for 10 mil it would look a better deal yes but it wouldn't make him a better player.

So i don't judge a player on how much he will cost .

If its a good deal or not is 100% different.
