Everton fan in peace here, my mate is taking his 5 year old son to the game tomorrow and asked me do I think there will be crowd trouble, I said I doubt it, just wanted to know your thoughts, obviously all teams have di**head fans but do you think there will be much crowd trouble around the ground? He is having second thoughts due to our recent run ins with city fans.

Occasions like this there's generally more of a family atmosphere at the game, and there's no bad blood between our fans so they'll be fine, I survived our final with millwall years back when I was only little so I'm sure you'll be alright!

One of my first games as a young un was the 2003 FA cup final vs Arsenal, at a time when we hated each other. And it was great, family atmosphere indeed. You'll be fine mate.

There will be no trouble tomorrow. Don't remember trouble at any other Everton-United games I have been too. We both have a common hatred for the other scouse lot, we'll leave it at that.

If you're with a kid, mate, you'll have no bother whatsoever. In my experience they're a useful tool for avoiding trouble.
