Depay again at end of costly decision. He should be sent to u21 till the time he don't prove something. Piss poor decision making that was. I really can't see why he is getting nod over janujaz or Pereira.
Every time I see him, he makes me frustrated and swearing. Most over rated idiotic buy of the season.

Yeh good idea feed him to the wolfs. New club, new country, new culture, young lad, probably still a bit immature. He needs encouraging not banashig to the U21's. We didn't spend £30 odd million to throw him in the U21's to rot. Give the lad a chance. How many previous players have had horrible first seasons and come on well. Vidic? Evra? You don't know what he's showing in training for instance. He could be brilliant in it, just not applying it in the league yet as he's still adapting. I agree it's frustrating, but that's what young players do, frustrate you. And as for Adnan, in 3 years in the firs team squad has he done anything to warrant a start? I've barely seen him have a good game. I think he's had enough chances and would sell him now.

So that goal had nothing to do with the midfield and defense not getting back into shape? Can't blame Memphis for that.

Give the boy a chance, he is only getting a few minutes on the pitch and there's pressure on him to perform, a bit of encouragement from the older players and fans is what he needs. the boy has something in his locker, I think he will come good.

I don't think Depay is an idiotic buy, and said pre season he will take some time to settle. I think with time he could well improve but I am not ready to write him off yet.

The issue and the frustration is that him giving the ball away easily is what we have seen regularly this season, add to that his defensive side can be poor, certainly needs working on. We should all have seen that this season, therefore the question is why, with us hanging on to a one goal lead did we bring him on in that situation? That was a shocking decision which cried out for Herrera instead. Maybe we should have better organised for their equaliser yet the way Memphis sloppily gave it away to bring them back on the attack cannot be ignored. It is easy to criticise Memphis but for me he should not have been brought on when we were not chasing the game and I would like to hear the rationale for that change.

In trying to give him time, he was brought on at the wrong time, was sloppy and irresponsible which led to the goal and garnered him criticism that he didn't need. We should question the substitution in my book, it cost us 2 points in a game where we played pretty well until dropping back deep later on, something that I believe Herrera could have helped remedy with fresh legs in midfield, if Herrera had had the ball on the right I really don't think he would have given it away.

If we replicate the performance we still have a chance of top 4 but can't afford more mistakes like that substitution.
