Opinions please:-
With a lot of banter on Pep to City, LvG going, and his successor being Jose or whoever:
What are the thoughts on Pellegrini taking over the reins if indeed Lvg goes in the summer and we don't get Pep or Jm?

Is that a serious question? Sure the fans would love that!

Man united getting a manager that city traded in for a newer model doesn't seem to fit the grand (looks silly atm) claim that we are the biggest club in the world.

I was chatting to a friend the other night while watching City Everton and once it became clear that City were going to win; I posed the question - what if Pellegrini goes on to win the treble/ quintuple and then is replaced by Pep?

That the thought even crossed my mind suggests it's a possibility (certainly a domestic treble at least) . If that were the case then I suppose he would have to be considered - and were he to go on and be a success with us it would make it all the sweeter.

City have been quite the hit and miss side under Pelle but despite that he still has one of the best points per game ratios of any manager in Premier League history (I think he was third behind SAF and JM) . When they turn up I like the way that they play too.

are city under achieving, i think they have by far the best squad in the EPL, should be dominating the league imo.
and should also of done far better in europe.

Jred - I think Chelski have the best squad in the league. Taking Sterling and De Bruyne out of the equation (both still relatively new signings) - their best players are Silva, Aguero and Kompany (two of whom are constantly out injured) . Toure is only good for about 5 minutes in 90 these days too.

I think Arsenal have as good a squad as City do (with the exception of the striker position where Aguero is twice the player that Giroud is) .

chelski
look old at the back imo and are missing energy in cm.
costa has injury and attitude issues and hazard looks like he wants out .
de bruyne has been one of there best players so not sure why you would take him out the equation .
augero, KDB, sterl8ng, silva looks a good front 4 to me .
city have 4 good options a fb and cb .
