Guys need your opinions,
Can we win the title this year, i think we have a genuine chance of winning it from here.
Not pretty but very effective and it reminds me of the latter years of Fergie era.

no i think injuries and lack of goals will catch up with us .

As unimpressed as I was yesterday with the general performance it did leave me feeling that there is a belief within the squad that we haven't seen for some time add to that the other teams around us reluctance to take the league by the scruff of the neck and I think we have a fantastic chance.

City with their defence are not so good especially without Kompany or Aguero. Injuries are catching up with Arsenal.
Chelsea have no or minimum chance of retaining the title. Liverpool are not ready this year.
If we carry on defending well and nicking points. Dare i say if we start clicking from now on especially if Rooney starts scoring we will have a great chance.

We can win it, whether we will is a different matter, I think the bookies have it right offering about 7/2 for us to win it. Win the next 3 or 4 games though and I would expect that price will be a lot closer to evens.

Thing is boys, you are winning games, including a few 0-0's while missing players through injury, so you are coping well with any problems you face compared to city yesterday, arsenal will do an aresnal and chelsea are nowhere. And with a defence like fort knox then why not? If depay and rooney could find their stride with martial to keep doing his thing, lingard to be more comfortable in the 1st team and a couple of shrewd buys in jan then its a serious unit in the making. Imo u are about to dominate for a while when everythings in place.

Yes - I have been saying so since week 3 - the worst team to watch to ever win the league. It is ours for the taking.

Beast I think all of the Jose title winning sides were boring.
Can we win it? Yes. Injuries will hit everyone at some point and having the kids around will help. We could do with bringing in someone in January though a Larsson type signing.
Will we win it? I think we will just fall short. But next season I would expect us to win it. Especially given we're only really 3 signings away.

Mort - I agree Jose has his teams play boring, but Chelsea were far more entertaining the first half of last season than we have been for the past few years. None of his teams have been as dull as this and that is saying something.
There have been some dull teams win the league no doubt, but since I have been watching I haven't seen a more negative team than this one win the league. Maybe pre 89 there were worse, I also think the drastic transition over the past 7 years from possibly the most entertaining team to watch to the least entertaining compounds the issue for me personally.

You have made your mind up that we are dull and I understand that but we are 13 games in, some of them haven't been dull, we have scored 2 or more goals in quite a lot of the games now, we are looking to attack more in first halfs which was lacking earlier in the season, so if we continue to see improvement and we win the league then we will fully deserve it in my opinion. And if we won the next 3 games 5-0 you would still say we are boring.

GDS2 and Ed - I just expect more from my team. Rather than it being spoilt it is where the bar has been set. I could understand if we had not invested or there was some travesty that had befallen the team, but that hasn't been the case. We have invested more than we ever have and we have neglected our principles.
Goals don't equal good football necessarily, I'm not a stat man. I prefer a positive approach and creating chances, not scoring 2 out of 3 chances which has been the case a lot of this season.

Coulda swore i said including a few 0-0's ed002. Not once did i mention they were wins. I was speaking of the run since their last defeat which are wins, including 3 nil nil draws. Simple really.
