Obviously the site couldn't just be all happy today after a great result for us and a great day for us, suddenly the team in 9th are the team we need to be worried about. We wanted Liverpool to win today surely? City are there for the taking without kompany, they concede goals for fun and Liverpool massively overran them in midfield like Arsenal did to us.
We are 2nd in the league behind a Leicester side that is massively overachieving, if we win next week we have to be classed as title contenders don't we?
At the end of October I said if we were within 5 points of City then November would be easier for us and harder for them and we would have a great chance of challenging.
Say it quietly because I still can't quite believe it myself but we are going to be in the title race this season, we have the qualities of a title winning side, we might not be the best in quality and we might not even have the prettiest style of play but we have a great mix of youth and experience which I am thoroughly enjoying, long may it continue.

Sensible post this. We played really well until the bizarre formation change, and we got an away win against a team that's only conceded 4 goals there this season. Every week we're seeing more evidence that there are no easy games in this league.
Who on here seeing our lineup today wouldn't have taken the result we got?
I honestly think we've got the makings of a top team here with some of the young lads we've got, and if we can compete for the title this year, which I think we will, it'll be amazing experience for them.

Wow GDS can't remember the last time you posted they are usually just replies but nevertheless you are completely correct in the respect of us not being nice to watch but are definitely title contenders with results like today's. We all know you need victories like that to win leagues 😆😆.

I agree with you GDS2.
One point I think is being overlooked is why LVG changed the whole shape. He did everything he could not to have to play several of the players on the bench until he had no further choice. He made a serious error changing the whole formation to avoid playing the youngsters early on - we got the win, but we almost didn't. If he had kept the initial formation I think it would have been far more comfortable and we could have blooded a couple more.
A win away from home is a good win in this league.

Well done finding a negative in that about the youth, does it really matter why he did it? I wouldn't have wanted to see them kids come on for 60 minutes, they could have got swallowed up and it could have killed their confidence.

I am over the moon with the result and with the reaction to the equaliser, I just thought the team looked a bit sloppy and sluggish which I put down to the international break. It seems that saying we didn't play particularly well = negativity God forbid we have opinions.

Never said anything about people being negative, I was saying people are talking about Liverpool being better than us when actually Liverpool winning was good for us today. We can never just have people being happy on here it would be weird!

This Liverpool guys I remember the days we saw them as threats I guess it's eating them up they vision they still belonged to the top class teams and why do u have to come to manutd page to tell us the favour u did for us by defeating mancity it's football it happens even we got defeated by arsenal we are above them now and they couldn't defeat westbrom that lost to us so don't let your win against mancity even make u feel u have a shot at top four talk less of the league. one love united love this family.
