I think it's about time Carrick retired from international football. He's very injury prone and these international breaks would be of great benefit into pro longing his career, as well as giving his body a rest.

I think this will be his last season with us. I hope he makes the squad for the euros. He has been a great player for us for many years and was the mainstay in our midfield playing 3 cl finals in 4 years a top player and by all accounts a real gentleman. Let's hope he is not out for too long. It looks like 2 or 3 from herrera bastian fellaini and morgan for the next 8 weeks or so as it midfield options .

He got renewed for 3 years and expect him to be here next year. Maybe not aways in the squad but definitely 30 games a year. Still class IMO.

According to official site contact expires end of season he signed for 1 more season as per norm for 34 yo I'm sure he didn't Get a contract till 37.
