I would just like to take a moment to commend the efforts of Antonio Valencia and wish him a speedy recovery following his injury. Even though he picked up the injury mid way through the City match he soldiered on (probably unwisely) and in my opinion was the best player on the park.
He gets a lot of stick on here but I believe he is very underrated and some folk single him out sometimes for criticism without merit. Whatever you think of the lad he gives one million per cent every time he puts on the shirt. Top professional.

Tony V is a good squad player. He never moans and always gives his all. I don't think he was man of the match v City but that is subjective. However I Eco the sentiment of best wishes for a speedy recovery.

The first post of yours I can completely agree with. He is a model professional. Hopefully he makes a speedy recovery. But that two full backs out now for most of the rest of the season. We will need to do something about that in January.

Funny to think how he was our player of the year in the 2011/12 season, coming off the back of a horrific leg break, just goes to show how things in the past can be easily forgotten. For a couple of years he was one of the most productive and functional players in the league when he was laying on assist after assist for rooney in his golden year.
Admittedly those days seem long gone but he's still had the wherewithal to adapt his game to become a right back who can do a job for us.

model proffesional who gives his all for utd everyone is entitled to there opinion but some of the garbage i read on hear about how crap he is, isn't warranted he even got rid of his agent for suggesting he would be better off leaving utd.
