Hi ed002 I seen yesterday you replied to a post about a fan take over (fan based organisation) and said it wouldn't happen. I'd like to hear your view on why you think it wouldn't happen. Maybe if some of the other eds and posters could give there view on it too.

You serious about a fan take over? Who could raise 1.3 billion? Unless our fans are the equivalent to the Arabs but I doubt it owning pound shops or quid bakerys.

Let me go to the cash point, I'll see what I can do.
{Ed001's Note - the only way a fan trust could do it, is if one was formed which gradually bought up shares as it could. Even then, it would never get the finances together to takeover, just have a large say in what goes on.}

I know it's far fetched i'm just throwing it out there to see what others think. I'm not sayin one fan to buy the whole club. Fan based group that are more intrested with what the club needs then self profiting. Surely with the amount of fans we have over 500 million. I'd think there is some multi millionaires in there. What about the red Knights. They are all lawyers and business men. Surely if they didn't think there was a distinct possibility of it happening they wouldn't be fundraising for money and putting some of there own in to

Fans raise money? I am struggling to raise 5k for a meaningful charity let alone 1.3bn for a club!
Ps didn't they already do that at FC United?
