Expect there'll be lots of posts on this, but does anyone know why Nick Powell has been included in CL squad?
Know he was injured, but guess he's fit now? And he must've survived Van Gaal's cull of deadwood - or no one wanted him?
Don't suppose anyone's got any inside info? I'd love to think he's back on track as had real,potential a few years back.

I would guess so. Something must be going on in the training sessions. Hope its a pleasant surprise and the lad proves his inclusion.

Same with Lingard, he was suggested to be on the way out about a month ago. Could be a big season for Jesse as we're short on the right wing.

I have no inside info but my guess would be lack of interest in the player, he's far from pulled up any trees recently.

Maybe LVG also forgot about Nick Powell. He gets mentioned every month or so on here and I find myself going "oh yeah forgot about him", every month. I hope he gets some game time.

Powell has a terrible attitude it is unsurprising that nobody would take him, last time I saw him play I couldn't even see how he would make it for us as a squad player.
