I think we have had a very good window. we have filled all the roles with the exception of cb that we set out to do. A couple of unknown quantities in depay and martial but I believe he has the players he wants and now lvg has got to deliver the results.
Some of the media driven hysteria and mental expectations of some posters with regards to signings was and still is just crazy IMO. The OTT criticism of strategy and transfer blunders etc is also rubbish.
All of this would have been brought under control weeks ago if ed002 had not been abused. The knowledge shared would have put us right and put the dreamers and bull shitters in their right place.
I know all posters get frustrated and angry but when you feel like you want to have an unjustified dig at any of the EDS and write abuse I urge you all to read it again before you press reply. Then acknowledge to yourself that you are being a Dick and delete it. as some would say simples
I hope we have learned our lesson. Thanks for the comeback today ed002 I appreciate all your responses to my questions on the euro and other pages.
Now I have a question for you. Do you think it at all possible that ddg will sign a new contract at Manchester united? my feeling is that he would sign one if he felt real got cold feet, i'd like ed001 s opinion too if your not picking bridesmaids outfits or something like that😃

I would say the same in regards to the window Ken. I would have liked to keep Januzaj but it's done now.

I think in regards to the players folk wanted through the doors I don't see the big problem in them hoping a club of our size can attract the top players and as modern day supporters we have a right to banter and argue amongst ourselves in terms of strategy and financials do we not?

As for DeGea the answer for me is no I don't see him singing a new contract. I think he loves the club but this move for him was family motivated more so than anything else. I have no idea what will become of him but while he is at our disposal I hope he picks up his gloves and plays between the sticks.

Jmb, we all have the right to an opinion but many like yourself are arguing without any insights to the reality so it gets tiresome. None of last years top 6 have strengthened as well as us with the possible exception of city whop spend moreon their preferred 19 year old starlet, took a huge gamble on a failed prem player and a cb that neverplayed in UK and only 1 season in Europe so perhaps our window will be better than theirs.

Whom is arguing without insight ken? It is all speculative at the end of the day, everything on here is. I think City's business has been exceptional especially under the circumstances but I don't feel overly let down with the business we have concluded.

That's my opinion and someone may have a different view and someone else may have a different one still but I wouldn't say that what they have got to say is tiresome.

The eds have the insights but some asshole pissed ed002 off so much she left as did the insights.

{Ed001's Note - I honestly don't know what will happen with De Gea now, as it seems Madrid are unsure about whether or not to sign him after all. His missus certainly wants him to move back to Spain, so it does seem unlikely he will end up staying. The questions is where would he go if Real Madrid have decided to shelve interest due to fan pressure. I would not be surprised to see Atletico make him an offer in January personally.}
