If my understanding is correct then we may have just f**ked Real Madrid in the arse.

We sent back the documentation 1 minute passed the deadline. But that documentation was for two transfers. One for the transfer of De Gea to Real Madrid and another for the transfer of Navas to United. Now after the deadline players can't sign for a Spanish club, but they can leave amd join an English one.

So if there is nothing tying the transfers together then that means we have just signed Navas and Madrid haven't signed DDG. Leaving them with just Casilla as their only goalkeeper.

If this is the case then Ed Woodward i salute you for getting one over on that mob. I might even name my first born son after him if he's screwed them. Lol.

I can't wait to see how this pans out.

I would absolutely love it if that turned out to be true. We'd have Valdes, DDG, Navas, Lindegard and Romero on the books too which, if I'm not mistaken, would make 1/4 of our squad GK's (including SJ).

Sure applaud Woodward for making the club look idiotic. applause applause. good grief.

I was thinking this but surely not, RM wouldn't be so dumb they'd have their ass covered! You could just imagine Ed and Louis are sat in an office somewhere glass of scotch and cigar to hand with some classic evil villain laugh.

LOL

Things will get very interesting.

Add to that a potential transfer ban in 2016 for Real and you have yourself a laughing stock

The deal will go through. The Spanish FA will not want to see their No.1 goalkeeper sit in the stands for a year with the Euros this coming summer. They will make it happen.

As for United they claim to have proof that everything on their end went through on time so who have we messed about? No one.

I think Madrid will get De Gea They will have too much clout and a degree of realism will prevail. Missing the deadline by one minute is different to missing it by say an hour.

People are getting a bit carried away, pretty sure that isn't what happened and it will all get sorted, Madrid have too much power for it not to happen.

Shappy. I initially thought your understanding but i am sure the Ed's said Earlier they were connected.
Would be fun if it were the case. however would not Make future workings with them that easy (thinking bale here)
Let's see tomorrow

On a Madrid point,I hope they get screwed over every year in the transfer windows.
But on personal note, I'd hate for de gea to sit for 6 months on the bench and be a waste of space
