For those of you who have been on this site for a long time, you will remember I predicted the appointment of that clueless idiot Moyes and the disasters that would follow. Then one of the editors got fed up with me winding people up so he banned me for a bit and I took myself away from this site, but now I am back and notice that some of my old rivals are still on here peddling their nonsense. Does anyone actually believe that we will win anything under LVG. He had one freak game against Spain in the World cup and for every other game the teams just sat back and the Dutch struggled (Does that sound familiar). Look who won the league last year boys. A man who thought he had the United job and cried when he didn't get it and yet was said by Sir Bobby not to be a United man. And all the time those money grabbing American leeches keep taking and taking. Anybody out there want to put me right and tell me why LVG will win the league?

we will win again but i don't think so it will be under lvg . lvg was bougth in to stabilize mam utd after wat moyes did to us i still believe we should gone to r manager . specially now klop is free i will go for him but before i sack lvg . i will find the missing person called Ed and sack him again he gone chasing ghost he wasted so much money on di maria last year when v should gone all out for Sanchez i sack him before lvg .

Lvg will win no league,his attitude is all wrong,his way or no way,plAying players out of position,pass the ball sideways,backwards,he is all about possession,some players need to play with a bit of freedom and to use their natural talent,he is too safe and stubborn to win the epl

We won't win anything this year, maybe a cup, as LvG still rebuilding:
1. Last year existing players were too dense to take on board his philosophy about playing with their heads/multiple positions etc so that took a while to make it their second nature. He's getting there now as all those silly mistakes from the start of last season seem to have gone - they were given new challenges and they didn't have a clue, so they panicked or gave it away
2. He'll bring in more players who are more tactically aware/thoughtful (Schneiderlin/Sweini) and shore up the defence, hopefully with Otamendi and Coleman
3. Having a more secure midfield (hopefully) will not put so much pressure on ADM to track back and instead take on defenders/beat them for pace
4. Depay will hopefully do the same, though raw
5. Shaw will be fitter and a better player
6. Herrera will be wiser and have a bigger impact
7. Rooney will hopefully be freed up in attack
8. He'll have cover/partner for Carrick, as his absence cost us games
9. However, he will still need to bed any new players in, as well as educating the others into what he wants - so would take a cup this year as finishing touches put to the building job. He was exactly what we needed to rebuild after disasterous Moyes and hopefully he'll hand the near finished article over to someone like de Boer or Ancelotti (Giggs would need to prove his worth at another club first before becoming Utd manager)
However, if we make a decent start, then who knows what might happen.

If I gave £300m to Harry Redknapp and the Moyes Utd squad he would have us winning things this season! But LVG is still rebuilding so don't expect anything? Jeeze, no other walk of life or football club even, would this return on investment be viable/allowed.
In saying that, if we play attacking football I don't much care about results as you could bore your way to the league like Chelsea did 2nd half of last season. I just don't see the point in boredom and winning nothing, when you have the tools to dominate.
My standards have lowered to such an extent that winning isn't crucial now, just being on the edge of my seat now and again will suffice at the minute!

£300m still wouldn't guarantee you the league, as all have to settle etc (some will, Herrera, some won't, Di Maria) - unless you bought the whole Chelsea side, which know each other really well.
Money obviously helps but you can only buy instant success if you have enough talented cogs to instantly fit your system and beliefs.
