Southampton travel to Austria on 7th July. Schneiderlin deal has to be agreed within 3 days from now if we are really interested. We ourselves take off on 14th July which is 10 days away. Our training sessions starts on this monday. I think we will see some signings sooner.

Because nobody has ever left a pre season tour to sign for another club?

Anything can happen on pre-season tour matches though they are no where near PL quality. Chicharito injured in international duty which is unavoidable, but why take the risk of allowing an almost confirmed target to tour with his current club rather than signing him comfortably? After our initial 20m bid is rejected there is nothing much to hear about Schneiderlin situation.

What if we signed him and took him on our tour and he got injured? Why worry about such things.
