Hi Guys
When Fergie used to say he would do his business early all his signings were in for the start of pre-season.
LvG stated at the end of last season he wanted to do his business early.So what should we read into this if anything.
Should we be worried that apart from Memphis we have no new players.
Should we remain calm and trust that LvG has it all under control.
Should we be excited that transfer deadline day will be busy.
Do some people think that all the superstar names being mentioned was to sell season tickets.
My personal take is that I'm a little concerned that some of the quality players we need have moved elsewhere but I'm hoping LvG has it all in hand and brings in the class players we need to be Champions again.

Who have we missed out on? If we genuinely wanted clyne or fimino we would have got them like with depay.

We appear to be close to Schneiderlin and no doubt have others in the bag. There is no reason to worry.

I think we will get Schneiderlin.
Some papers are saying Real are looking for a new defender, Mustafi it is. So Ramos to United is still a possible one. We are linked with Coleman, which is very much possible with right fee. Some are saying Gaitan deal agreed. We can expect almost all the new signings onboard for US with one or two exceptions like Ramos who is worth waiting for.

We haven't missed out on anyone. Cech wanted to stay London and signed for arsenal whereas if we wanted to sign Clyne we would have but seems like we have someone else lined up. Hopefully schneiderlin signs before preseason starts. Can't wait to see the new signings in the red shirt.

I think with player/manager holidays, Copa America we shouldn't worry. Ryan Giggs himself said we are looking to strengthen thru the whole team, LVG said he will buy early, remember the window doesn't actually open until Wednesday. Depay sealed already, Schneiderlin next, I wouldn't worry.

No need to panic,I may be wrong but think to our preseason training is something like 18-19 days so in that respect we have plenty of time.We've been linked with so many players so hard to guess which one's we are actually in for.In my my opinion tho you can rule out ramos and schweinsteiger.

RG11 and Mort I think you need to take your United blinkers off.It wasn't that long ago that reports suggested both Firminio and Clyne were done and dusted to join United and some on here were posting as such.Cech may have wanted to stay in London because he preferred Arsenal to us.I agree with other comments that there may well be deals in place but that doesn't change the fact we still only have Memphis and the players are back in training this week.I have no doubt we will make signings I just hope they are of the calibre we need.

Players,are back in training on weds and then 2 weeksuntil the american tour. International window not open yet.we Coukd have a few players almost signed ready to come in this week.
We all want players in early but getting the right players is more important and invariably the right players take longer to negotiate,as there teams do not Want to lose them.

Bazza we should not believe everything written in papers. As for firmino as good a player he is, we all agree that he wasn't the player we needed and even the eds said that we were interested but never made an offer to sign him. Clyne is a good rb but between Coleman and Clyne i would choose Coleman. Hopefully we do sign Coleman. Even if players don't sign before preseason that is not a big worry we still would have time to sign players.

I'm holding onto the dream of the Copa America finishing and us signing Vidal and Otamendi and possibly a striker. Plenty of time to be worried when that's all finished.
