Hmm interesting choice but probably would not as who knows how he would do in the PL. Many have come with bigger reputations and failed.

chris not sure to be honest .
rooney is captain ,knows the epl, big voice in the dressing room , is the player the others look to plays a number of positions and for me we always look a better team when he plays.
12 league goals playing in a team that has struggled to create chances and also playing a number of positions.
lew is a good player but so was kagawa for example , he has no prem experience has managed 17 league goals playing in a very attack minded team that have walked there league .
it isn't football manager on the computer there is a lot to take in to account , i would prob keep rooney as don't really believe in selling your best players .

for me its just the same people asking the same question, but giving a different reason for the last 4 year.
