Ed's I am hoping you let me share this with the rest of the guys. Early today Danny Pughnited posted something magical and here it is -
"Let me tell you a story, long long ago in a land far far away in the magical kingdom of Longsight a boy was born called Danny. Danny was strong and fast and brave, but a witch cursed him by taking away his balance and his ability to score goals on a regular basis. But Danny wasn't deterred and fought tooth and nail to become a knight at the theater of dreams in the kingdom of Trafford.
Although Danny was more of a squire than a real knight, he was happy for a time: polishing the armor, sharpening the weapons and cleaning out the stables. And Danny's pluck and moxy did not go unnoticed and he won admirers all across the land. Chief among his admirers was the angry Beast who loved Danny with all his heart and saw in him a true hero who could help Trafford recapture the chalice of Champions. Beast adorned his abode with opulent paintings of Danny and created a small shrine in his back garden. One day, Beast exclaimed, the world will see how truly great Danny is and a big parade will be held.
However, Danny soon grew tired of his role, and began to seek a true knight's role. Why should Sir Wayne and Sir Persie get all the glory, Danny moaned, am I not as great as they? But what of the curse, his friends pleaded? Scoff to the curse, Danny replied, I can be a great knight without balance or scoring prowess, just you wait and see! So Danny burst into the throne room of the new king Louis and demanded to be recognised as a real knight. The court laughed and wise king Louis banished poor Danny to the lesser kingdom of Emirates where Danny soon returned to his role of diligent squire to greater knights.
Beast, however, was despondent and vowed revenge on king Louis for banishing his Danny. He swore a blood oath and was transformed into a troll. He is now fastened to his fate of trolling king Louis every day, while weeping at the foot of his now obsolete shrine. Oh what a tragic tale is this."
This needs to be made into a real book!

Lest one forget, Danny has been well received in the court of His Royal Hodgson too.
Poor Beast, drowning in the irony of the gift that sank us in the tournament of clubs, and the unfulfilled potential of what almost was, and yet may be.

Ed(s) , may I ask why Danny's post was taken down earlier? I know someone did respond negatively. I also responded , which wasn't posted , and the thread was then removed.
Just wanted to make sure it wasn't taken down because of my response? Apologies (and to Danny) in advance if it was for that reason.
Sorry if this sound a bit "its all about me" :) , I just wanted to check because I thought the OP was very funny , and that's what banter is all about.

Beast and jmb I understand u don't fancy the manager much but jeez would u let it go fr a while. You two make this page miserable and depressing.
I'm not convinced with lvg either but man o man.
Don't knw about the other posters but this constant drivel is becoming a tad hard to take now.

Cheers for the reply Ed. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't me. We all like a bit of good banter but I would want to spoil a good thread for everyone else. And that was a good thread.

i don't agree with a lot beast says but the stick he gets and the fact he keeps coming back impresses me .
site would be a bit boring with out him imo

I think of Beast as more of a Widow Twanky as opposed to a pantomime villain. I agree with jred though, repetitive as it is, it stimulates discussion and creates entertainment. And let's be honest, Beast and JMB and Jamie have nothing on KLOOT

to be fair to be beast he gives an opinion and sticks to it .
but he keeps it civil and doesn't really get personal , which when you think of the stick he gets is impressive imo.
who knows he may be right and the world is wrong

I think Beast is KLOOT, but he has been through anger management therapy and is on anti depression medication.

Ah I remember the days KLOOT would just continuously hate on everyone. I do remember his prediction of Moyes taking over Fergie and destroying the club, he was right there.
It's great we have the likes of Beast and JMB on the site, it triggers some interesting debates and of course we get little golden nuggets like this posted occasionally.
