If anybody watched the Awards Ceremony last night, how funny was LVG's speech?
I know he has made some funny decisions this season, but from the slightly drunk speech he did, he had shown that he is the perfect fit for Manchester United.
He oozes confidence and arrogance, which is what we need as a manager. It wasn't "If we win a trophy" it was "When we win a trophy". A huge improvement on Moyes IMO who wasn't ever going to be ready for that role.
I'm hoping he is ruthless this summer and sells the players not pulling their weight, replacing them with much hungrier lads, I feel very confident about next season now, with or without big Dave.

I've just put a post slagging him for what I saw Weggy. Was it 8-9 mins talking summing up the 13 points in 10 games?
I'm hoping I just watched the worst bits then, I must have.
Maybe I am just odd here as all I am hearing is praise for him and I hated seeing our manager acting like a clown.

I saw it as a man who despite having a rough start to the season has still shown a lot of charisma and energy to continue on improving us.
The awards are a chance to reflect on the season in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
I would rather have this man at the club over Mr 'we aspire to be like man city' Moyes

You can see the guy has been moved by the fans input this season Beast and it absolutely was a genuine attempt at recognizing how remarkable that has been for him, the team and the turnaround. Giving the fans wholeheartedly much credit. Kudos lvg. Forget the cringe moments Beast give him his due. He's a manager not a showman. His humour is only let down by an understandably awkward handling of our language.
I strongly recommend watching a comedy each morning Beasty.

I personally thought it was brilliant gives a glimpse of how settled,happy and comfortable he is with the club .
I had my doubts at the beggining of the season but I am really warming to the bloke on and off the pitch.

I would imagine they haven't seen it, and if they have they would be delighted, the press have lapped it up, everybody is being positive about the manager and it has made people feel good and optimistic about next season.

Beast, I have said it before and I will say it again: You haven't liked the manager from day one. I personally think the guy is a breath of fresh air. He can take the micky out of himself and that is a great quality to have. It makes everyone else around him feel at ease, and that is very evident.

I think he is hot air Sam. We give him so much rope because of what went on the season before. The guy could have a tommy tank on stage and some of you would praise him for his enthusiasm. "Being at Utd just does it for him".

Come on Beast! He isn't the best manager ever, but he is in the process of putting together a very good team/squad, on which our future will be built for a new manager to take over. Who would you have wanted last season instead? Klopp who's done well and not so well at one club, Pep who has got lucky twice as manager but who has never had to do what LVG is doing, Ancelotti who had no interest I'm sure on the back of a CL win, Mourinho again not interested, Blanc still not proven enough for me, Giggs? Let's not go there. He has steadied and improved us and next season will be a lot better again.
