Awful again creating chances Everton could have thrown a ball boy in goal. for all those championing Fellaini today shows when we do not play long ball at him he is a waste of a shirt. blind should not be allowed anywhere near the midfield he is so slow it's painful again after 10 mins we were out of ideas absolutely no direction from the bench they just sit there waiting for the inevitable. a team like Everyon who are average have shown how easy it is to play against us when u set up on the counter, we don't have anyone on that field that can create a chance it's all side slow passing shows how much influence carrick brings. No coincidence the great performances against Spurs, livetpool and city all came against teams that set out to attack and beat u. Chelsea and Everton have shown how limited we really are. Again no leader on that side in midfield imot at the back need someone strong to organise it when it's going this bad as the bench don't seem interested in intervening at all.

Talk about an over-reaction.

You keep banging the same drum and it's getting very boring pal! We all know we need a CB leader, a CM and an attacker, but believe it all not, the widow isn't open yet so shall we blame LVG for that aswell! Make do with what we have is all we can do right now! Yeh were poor today granted, but you moan about the same $h*t every day and it's boring

Since that 2nd goal we have been awful, no real teamwork, no energy, just slow and pointless passing. We have lost all cohesion.

It is such a shame we got those injuries. it has really unbalanced the side IMO. Second half performance has been shocking. I can't watch it anymore.

We have to pick up three points next week or we will be dragged into a fight for fourth place.

26 Apr 2015 15:07:45
Do you not think we are just missing carrick?

Not like you to post during a game we are losing, you've been waiting for this haven't you??

26 Apr 2015 15:07:50
We've made Everton look like Real Madrid, its 2 weeks in a row we go a goal down or 3 in this case and have no idea how to break them down.
Most of the side have played poorly today, I agree with you when you say Blind should be nowhere near midfield, this performance is the same as before carrick got injured.

26 Apr 2015 15:21:45
Carrick plays a massive role in the system we are now playing. He allows the other midfield players to push on and pick up nice positions.

Blind has been exceptional at LB at should return to that position when Carrick returns.

We need two top CM players in the summer. That should be the priority alongside a commanding CB.

Yay beast is back, how was things mate, I understand u have been really busy lately therefore unable to post much.

Glad u have sorted that just in time for a bad loss ;)

We really do miss carrick

And cue the overreaction football teams sometimes lose games you know! I thought we were ok first half toothless in the 2nd and unfortunately Everton were magnificent today the way results went this weekend it's not the end of the world although it's very important to get 3 points against arsenal .

26 Apr 2015 15:43:32
A bit of an overreaction to a very disappointing outing.

The key point - we miss Michael Carrick. Is it merely coincidence that our results have been so much better with him in the team? Blind is not his equal and unfortunately both he and McNair were very weak in conceding the first goal. Our main transfer objective must surely be to find a back up/replacement.

Again it could have been so different today. Had Fellaini taken his chance to equalize this would have been a very different game, as it would last week when Rooney had a golden opportunity to put us ahead.

Football is a tight game where moments change matches. Just look at yesterday. Burnley miss a penalty, Leicester go up the other end and score. Similarly Villa have a probable goal ruled out for a wrong offside, and City come back and score. We had a few good chances in the first half and we didn't take any of them. That's the difference. After that Everton were able to double down on defence making the task even harder.

We can but hope this result was an aberration. We need to be confident that next week will be a different story and we will pick up 3 of the 8 points we need to secure 4th place at the worst.

It's not losing its the manner in which we lose that game was a forgone conclusion after 10 mins. Not only that but the manager and coaching staff did nothing to change it one up front til the 86th minute. Sorry if I bang on about the same old rubbish but how come the manager hasn't grasped the thing that the rest of the nation has. How much would I give for mourinho he gets stuck but tactically he is out of LVGs league

So I presume chelsea never lose games if Mourinho is that good? Oh hang on they finished third in his first season.
