I see my name mentioned
I stated when you united fans were praising Rodgers and abusing van gal. Whilst all throughout the season I stated Rodgers was not the man to take Liverpool forward. I seen every weakness that the media and outside fans were oblivious too.
Edd001 and Edd002 know a lot more of what goes on inside clubs than any of us. United are a poor side with the results cracking over a lot of cracks. Yet the league is dire technically of quailty it is massively over rated.
Liverpool have a good squad with terrific talent in it. We need 3 top players in certain positions and the right man in charge. I haven't lost any hope because I can see the quailty there. It requires a lot of.patience being a Liverpool fans because for the past ten years we have failed to create a solid defence and have bought recklessly.
However I fear not one of the top teams in England because they are way of the standard of quailty in Europe. If Liverpool were to get klopp (unlikel) we would be striving to compete with quailty European teams not sub standard English teams

Big Al you are delusional. You state we are a "poor" team despite totally outplaying spurs, you lot, City and Chelsea despite the loss. How are we papering over cracks with 4-2 wins over City ?were not playing poorly and scraping wins by the odd goal, that's papering over crack which you've done since Christmas and they've now been found out. We are a good, improving side, and we have power in the market to add 3 top elite players to take us to the next level. Have you got the pull ? I doubt it. Why would Klopp want the Liverpool job? For what possible reason?

As for you competing with Europes elite but not the English sub standard, your telling me with Klopp in charge and this squad you'll challenge Real and Barca? Whatever your smoking pass me some will you

20 Apr 2015 14:07:13
Big al just face it you are not that big a club anymore for the last twenty odd years it will be are time this season you will still be saying it in another twenty years

20 Apr 2015 14:09:09
Stand I'm sorry mate but you have fallen into your own grave.
I'll say it again. The premier league has been drose this season. Liverpool are one of the better technical sides. United have been getting results because it's a physical league. It's not la liga. United are poor technically and van gal is a poor manager with half of the United hierarchy wanting him out.
Did I say klopp would come? No idea said unlikely. And yes. He is one of the best managers in Europe for me. Guardiola has been handed golden spoons with the squads he has inherited. Klopp and simeone are the two best managers out there Imo.
Anchelloti is a great but aging manager. And mourinhos side serves dross

I don't believe you understand the words you post.
Liverpool are a huge club with a massive fan based. A business works with product and market demand to make it simple for you.Liverpool will always have a huge base of fans. We might not pull as much revenue as other clubs or onfield success in the near future but Liverpool is a massive club because of its 'fans'. I don't think you understand the concept Of it all.

This half the United hierarchy want Van Gaal out , where does it come from ?

1. Klopp will not be Liverpool manager next season and by the looks of it, neither will Rodgers. Why will Klopp go to a midtable club like Liverpool which cannot attract top players and has issues with ffp?

2. Liverpool do have some good players, but huge work still needs to be done. It will not be as easy as just adding 2-3 top players. Sorting out that awful defense would be a good place to start. Also, without Europe, how many of those good players will stay?

3. Why will any top player join Liverpool? You can't pay the top wages that the big clubs do, don't have a top manager, are not in Europe and are not competing for the title. Even with Champions league football you lost out to Arsenal on Sanchez.

4. Indeed there is a gap between MUFC and Chelsea. But we are starting to click. Playing much better and with far more confidence. We are already close to second place this season, even though we went through a huge transition and for half the season played poor football with poor tactics. But now that the manager has found a system that works, we are controlling games and creating chances.

5. United's commercial success means we have the money to sign and pay the top players. The summer will see us sign quality players in positions we need. Now that we will be in Europe next year (almost certainly), we will be able to attract some players we couldn't last summer.

6. Our record against the top teams in the league this season proves that we can match up with them. In the last 5 games we have completely outplayed our competitors. Of course, there is a gap to be closed to the European elite like barca real Madrid and Bayern, but with the quality that we have and the players we will sign, I'm certain we will do that.

7. Van Gaal's tactics in the first half of the season were poor. But now he has rectified it. Also, he has turned us into a much more cultured possession retaining team. Once we go ahead its very difficult to play against us. Ball retention is very good now. And the new signings will add to that.

20 Apr 2015 14:28:55
You have been posting the same drivel since we beat you lot the league dose not lie we will be challenging next season you lot will not simple as

20 Apr 2015 14:50:58
Haha yeah we're papering over cracks with wins against Spurs, Liverpool and City while narrowly losing out to the soon-to-be PL champions against the run of play. You just hack seeing us starting to become a dangerous team again can you? Makes me laugh though, you saying we're only doing well because it's a physical league when in actual fact to go to stamford bridge and come back with 70% ball possession and 600 odd completed passes you have to have a good group of technical players otherwise it's just not possible and you must be an idiot to think otherwise.

I think maybe you're just cranky because you're likely to miss out on champions league football while just suffering a defeat in a cup you lot thought you could win? Or then again maybe it's because you've finally realised your only world class player left a season ago and your other very influential player has had it and is now off to the MLS? Either way put away your sour grapes, we don't want any.

Interesting how last season the tide had turned, one season outside the top 4 and United were finished, Liverpool have taken over in the top 4 and United are on a downward spiral. 12 months on and United are in the top 4, Liverpool have dropped from 2nd to 5th and outside the Champions League places, so really it seems that last season was just a blip.

Al,

Nobody said you aren't a BIG club, you just haven't got a very good team despite spending a lot of money.

20 Apr 2015 15:24:37
AL when will u form your own opinion mate, everything u have just said in your op was what ed01 said back to ure question.

Come on fella.

20 Apr 2015 15:29:15
Here we go again, Liverpool are struggling so therefore the league is.

Liverpool would do better in a more technical league, yes I'm sure they would with players like skittles and Lucas and balotelli etc.

Same stuff different season.

20 Apr 2015 15:10:42
Al I don't usually reply to drivel but this is absolute nonsense. Have you seen the last two months games in which we have been a different class to you lot, spurs, city & were the better team against Chelsea (the major difference was Hazard). We will be there or there abouts next year. I hear we look through tinted glasses and in some respects it's true but your sir are Highly delusional. Almost every top pundit in the country accepts United are on the rise but of course you know better.

20 Apr 2015 15:50:08
We are lacking technical quality?

I suggest you re-watch (maybe 50-100 times) Mata's two goals against you lot. You could also try watching us against Spurs and Chelsea.

Perhaps you will reconsider.

20 Apr 2015 15:52:13
LOL Liverpool are not a technically better side. We played you off the park not so long ago, playing a brand of technical football that your average team couldn't live with. And yes, you are an average side with a few exceptional young talents. The rest are not worth talking about.

20 Apr 2015 16:04:14
Al to make it even more simple for you, a business actually functions from profit and cash flow regardless of product and market demand. You've dug your whole even bigger, if you have constant flirting below the club's that are getting money from CL and titles then that will hurt your club short term and long term. Children who are the next consumers will be interested in other clubs rather than yours. Look how Leeds have fallen. Roughly the same size ground as yours and a big fan base. They are an example to you of how far you could fall. Also I don't get the Simeone band wagon. I'm pretty sure he doesn't even speak English, although he can learn it he's not exactly a shoe in. And Lvg is a poor manager? He probably has more titles than your club over the years and has played a significant part in Ajax, bayern Munich and Barcelona winning trophies I believe at all of them. Is it because he hasn't managed your massive club? I expect you wanted him in the summer to manage lfc.

20 Apr 2015 16:20:23
Big Al,seek therapy dude. Three players and a manager? Liverpool have no spine running through them,at the least, and Brenda has made a host of mistakes. Balotelli, letting Sterling go on holiday,I could go on. I don't know what is happening at the club, but that was a very odd performance yesterday, management and players alike.
I think Liverpool's owners are more interested in Anfield as a piece of real estate and the potential of Stanley Park, and they just don't have the nouse to make the club successful again. Which is nice.

20 Apr 2015 16:46:18
Congratulations on keeping up your hobby of asking Ed001's opinion then re-hashing it as your own, on our page 😆

I would prefer to hear your own opinions, like the time you said lallana would set the world cup alight and take the league by storm this year. That was a classic.

20 Apr 2015 18:36:34
Bless. Look at him hitting the disagree button over and over. I feel a little sorry for him now.

20 Apr 2015 22:51:18
To be fair to Big Al he has just hung a little worm on the end of his rod and he has reeled in a bucket load of red salmon. Well played Al!

20 Apr 2015 23:55:41
Maybe he could reel in some common sense too ;)

21 Apr 2015 00:10:25
