I have not seen anybody mention this yet but United had a player who will play in the FA cup final who worked his apse off yesterday in a brilliant midfield performance, he is never going to make it here and he has taken a lot of stick over the last few years but I just wanted to say well done to Tom Cleverley.

I agree, credit where it's due. He had potential but never fulfilled it after his injury. Hope he does well where ever he goes to next.

Never had anything against Cleverley. Still believe he would be a very good squad player for us tbh. He deserves first team football though and could still become a very good player in my eyes, with his confidence restored. Hope he does very well wherever he ends up. Just a shame he got the injury when he did.

Homegrown player and suits a possession game. I would keep him as a squad player but I can't see it happening. All the best Clev!

Credit where it's due but sentiments aside let's not forget how many times he frustrated us with his lack of creativity and ability to play the ball forward. Good professional, good footballer but not United quality. Wish him all the best regardless.

I think LVG would have brought the best out of Cleverley, if he had stayed. I think he could have been closer to the player we thought he could be,rather than the player he became, especially last season. I stand by my belief that he could have been a very useful squad player for us.
