Long time reader, first time poster. watched the netherlands spain match last night and have to say that kid depay looks a talented fella, not short of confidence either. Sign him up!
Also can't wait for normal business to resume this weekend. feel we have turned a corner optimistic for the rest of the season.

He does look like an excellent, fearless prospect. He has all the attributes that one would want to see in a forward player, pace, power, technical ability and goals.

He does look a good player from what I've seen of him but he is a little greedy and that will have to change big time if he wants to succeed at Old Trafford especially under LVG's possession game.

Yes just refer to me as Supasub number 1. Then there is maybe room for a number 2 and so on and eventually a supersub 316. There was a supersub a couple of years ago who briefly posted, Maybe the same person, welcome and thanks for posting. Do you get adverts for mature bearded women and penis enlargement at the top of your page out of interest? If so then erm we are not alike at all.

The worrying thing for me is that Robben outshone him in the World Cup massively, that is the level we should be aiming for. The reports are he is not yet ready, (maybe pinch of salt those), but also I never read about any other clubs being interested.
The second a real "coup" of a player becomes available there will be all sorts of names linked with him. I've got another Nani feeling about this guy, but haven't seen enough.

Also a long time reader here and first time poster.
I think it will be 50/50 on how Depay turns out. He will either be a Robben or a Nani as Beast mentioned above.
A LOT of PSV fans are actually happy that he is being linked away from them as they feel he is not as good as others are making him out to be. He's not a team player right now but I'm sure someone like LVG could change this and bring the best out of him.
It's also worth noting that players from the Dutch league tend to do very well in the premier league.

If you could sign off all your posts by saying 'Supersub 316 said I just whipped your apse' that would be fantastic.
Every time I have seen Depay I have been impressed but Ed002 feels that he is not ready for the step up to United, I have wondered for a while what he was told the issue is and why they think he isn't ready, and also whether this opinion has changed at all sue to this seasons form.
{Ed002's Note - It is not me who doesn't think he is ready. He was told last summer by someone who knows him and the game world-wide that he should wait two seasons before making a move to England which is what he wants. He was advised against joining the Manchester clubs or Real Madrid too early as he would not be a regular and that in the longer term could be detrimental to his career. He was also told not to join Spurs - who are interested, and if he were to make an early move to consider the interest of Newcastle seriously. Others are now watching - Liverpool, probably as an alternative to Sterling if he were to leave and Everton. I expect that a move to MU is viable for the summer but it might be a hard year for him next season.}

Maybe we could sign him and loan him back to PSV.
Everyone hates a wasted potential. And if we were to sign any of Bale/Ronaldo or others playing the same position, he would suffer the same fate as that of Januzaj

MB I've not heard or seen much on Muller myself it would just be a personal preference mate.
