Ed i don't really understand a lot about how agents go about their job however as compared to other clubs i get a feeling that United are always taken for a ride by agents.
Be in transfer fee or wages we always seem to play more. Please correct me if i am wrong.
Would like to hear other poster's comments as well.

MB - when you want to sign the best players then a) the selling club will always negotiate for the best price and if we are willing to stump up too much then more fool us b) top players have the so called 'super agents' as their representatives. These are guys who have been around the block so many times their reputation demands a fee before you even negotiate. Most of these agents like Riola and Mendes are absolute mercenaries and will push to get their client and themselves the best deal possible. Again if we overpay then more fool us.
