Good recent performances by the team and really impressed with how the team has been playing of late. Would love to see the team to keep their performance levels up for the majority of the match as well.

Unbelievable that some of the posters making it up that LVG has finally listened to his critics/fans and is setting up the way they want the team to play. Guys like LVG/Fergie do care less about the critics and do the job their way, simple as that. Agree on one thing that injuries has played a part in it but, other than that LVG is a very tactical guy and knows better than all of us.

It is almost sinical to blame the manager when the team doesn't do well and just as well discredit him when the team is doing well.

I think people/fans have the right to be critical of LVG this season, he was stubborn as a mule early on in the season which "WAS" costing us points.
As it is now he is doing a great job, maybe he did listen to critics maybe not, he may of dropped his mate Phil, who knows, but for now it seems he has grown into the UTD job and I for one am very happy with that.

Herbie,

Pretty much agree with that, we don't know what has made him change, maybe it is a bit of luck with injuries and suspensions, maybe he has listened to what people have told him, maybe he's grown into the job and learned more about how teams play, but some posters on here are adamant he has just listened to us lot on here and that is why we are now playing better.

Funny how when we weren't playing well it is because of LVG and when we are playing well it is because of all the critics, anyone would think some people just don't like the manager and will slag him off whatever he does, but it can't be that can it?

You have to give credit where its due and LVG deserves a little credit right now.
I will say though, the same as I have said all season that I still don't think he's the right man for the job long term.

Herbie,

I would agree with that also, I don't think he will be long term, just 3 years, long enough to sort out some of the mess we are in, bring through some youngsters, get rid of players who don't belong and leave the club in a better shape than Fergie left it in.
